Estelle Brown saying "She was touched by an angel" perfectly describes ( Getting Emotional ) what Elvis had done to the World!!! *Tears* Elvis helped me through my Daddy's passing Daddy Adored Elvis - How can you not get emotional with Elvis singing & the great stories told by those that knew him personally!! Estelle Brown & James Burton both are from Shreveport, La only 40 minutes from my hometown Texarkana / Texas / Arkansas ( Twin City sits on both states ) Elvis performed there 6 times at our Arkansas Municipal Auditorium from 1954 - 1955 When doing the Louisiana Hayride Elvis Scotty & Bill would perform in between The Hayride - Traveling to the Small towns Great Reaction Thanks Miss Helene --

(I am Mary) They all have stories and they loved him and he loved them. And to think they almost didn't take the job because they heard he was racist. See, you have to do your own research. Maybe some day people will know the wonderful man Elvis was. I am 80 and lived through his career. Saw him twice in concert when he was on tour in Hampton Rd. Virgina. He was to beautiful to believe. We didn't have phones that took pictures back then. They would not allow you to bring in camera's. The Hampton Coliseum had just been built and there had to be at least 14,000 if not more there. They had the Virgina state police directing traffic into the parking lot. It was the thrill of a lifetime. The first time we saw him we were only 3 rows back from the stage, I bought those tickets early because the local fan club said he was coming before the press announced it. He walked out and said that the Hampton Coliseum which was perfectly round, looked like a funky spaceship. It is still there, and a huge cooper plate is inside telling how his show broke all records. You know I saw the real Elvis and no matter what anyone says, I was also touched by an angel. Thanks Ray

He wasn't racist, but he allowed people to be racist his form him, and idly stood by and raked in millions of dollars after turning his back on the black community. You can say he was an Angel all you want until the cows come home, but the fact is, just because he was nice to individual black folks, don't mean he didn't screw over the culture, he was also a pedophile and wife abuser, those are just the facts, no matter how much you don't want them to be.

If you notice near the beginning of the old clips, there's video of Elvis at a rehearsal talking with the ladies who are sitting in chairs. Instead of standing looking down at them (and making them look up at him) while they talked, Elvis squatted down so they were all at eye level. It was a simple, but natural to him, gesture of his humility...

AWWW... MISS HELENE THANK YOU 💖💜💖💜💖💜💖💜🙏💕🙏💕🙏💕🙏💕 THANK YOU RAY FOR SUCH A LOVELY REACTION 💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛🙏💕🙏💕🙏💕🙏💕 Estelle Brown gave more than one interview and in another interview she said that, "There's not a day that goes by I don't think about that man and every time I do I feel myself start to tear up. I miss him every day." Another lady in Memphis who owned a restaurant that Elvis used to frequent said that she lived through it all- from growing up poor to having to bury a child. But the day she said, "We lost Elvis I fell to my knees and cried. I remember him when he was just a boy. He would offer to sing for me in exchange for a cheese sandwich. I would always tell him that he was welcome to sing while wiping down tables and you know that's what he would do." She went on to say, "When he made it to the big time he insisted on paying me back for all of these cheese sandwiches and I turned him down flat. Well I thought I won that argument only to find out I didn't. My husband called me to where the pay phone was towards the kitchen and there he was standing in front of the open phone book holding a fat envelop. It was full of cash. Just enough to pay off what we owed on the loan on the restaurant. That was who Elvis was. The day he died we lost one of our own. We lost a son." There are so many stories buried in the passing of time about Elvis's generosity. I'm glad that there were those who had the presence of mind to go around asking people who knew Elvis or who lived in Memphis and remembered Elvis to share their stories. May they all rest in peace ✌💜🌹🙏💕 TCB ⚡ & TLC ❤ & peace ✌& blessings 🙏 to you & yours & to one & all here as well 💕 P.S. My apologies for not being able to recall the lady's name.

Funny incident I was at the 72 Hampton Rds, Virginia concert and because i was part of a fan club, I got to get tickets before the media announced the concert. I landed 3 rows back from the stage. You know when he sings love Me Tender and kisses the girls at the edge of the stage? I wanted to go up there so bad, but I was with my husband, so I missed the kiss, i still am sorry about that, I am not even married to my husband anymore. Ha

Receipts please? Not one woman who was under age has EVER come out and said anything untoward happened. BTW a lot of these underage girls were chasing HIM. They were relentless. As a matter of fact, I just watched a video with Cassandra (Elvira) when she met him in Vegas and was invited to his room. She said they were being watched very closely because they knew how old she was - I believe 17 at the time. He told her to get out of Vegas. And someone who constantly gave credit to the black entertainers and constantly said how much he loved this one or that one (who were black BTW Diana Ross, Barbara McNair) at his Vegas shows is a racist? His house was always FULL of people. Him and Priscilla were never alone. I think people who were there would know better than you if there was any spousal abuse going on.
