The one treasure my parents gave their six children was the gift of music. They played every genre of music known to humans. Foreign music, country music, rock, blues, jazz. The list goes on and on. What an amazing gift they gave to their children and we were lower middle class growing up in Bed Sty Brooklyn. But we were richer than any billionaire out there. Elvis was played often on our record player. In fact I still have all the Elvis albums today. How lucky was I to have these amazing parents. This song brings back floods of memories. "That man just fucked his guitar!" Lol. I really love every single number they did in this part of the show in the round. They had gotten his original band back together on the Fly minus the original bass player because he died too early and they were supposed to have time to practice but they didn't. They were able to hang out just for a little bit in the hotel room first and then they came on and so they're basically just winging it. But they had played together so intensively you know 10 years before and really before that too. And some after that actually.. but anyway dude, you were totally cracking me up all the way through it. Yeah, there was something special about that man, it doesn't matter how many times I see these or if I see something new I've never seen before, you can't take your eyes off him and he's funny as hell when he wants to be and as a musician, I feel like I can really respect how good he is at doing all these things at once.

Thank you! People grab on to something like rumors and false information and run with it if it fits their need to disparage someone who had what they never could. A wealth of knowledge from people who were not alive during his lifetime, " heard or read" some BS and accept it as gospel because if someone said it, it must be true. That in my opinion is true power. Anyone who has been dead for 45 years and can still stir so much controversy ( worse than what he did when he first came out) was a powerful individual. The irony of old white people hating him, calling him the N word back then and many black people now calling him a racist should be lost on no one. None of us had what he possessed ( any race, nationality or gender) . To eviscerate this man and cling to his shortcomings as a fallible human being keeps him seated right where his talent put him.
