Gary Clark jr became a famous guitar player in his teens. He grew up in Austin Tx and grew up poor around racists and after he made it and got married he bought a 50 acre ranch south of Austin and the neighbor asked him who owned the property and why he was there.

This is powerful! And , that guitar is bad ass. Thanks for introducing me to a new artist. Your children will be all the better for knowing another language, and knowing about their heritage. Gary is a legend. Has a small part in the movie Chef. He and his band are playing during the part that takes place in Austin. This song slaps but one of my other favorites is “Pearl Cadillac” also: “When My Train Pulls In”, “Bright Lights” and “Soul” from the Blak and Blu album m are 🔥🔥🔥

Gary Clark Jr. is great, and this song is really powerful (I saw him do it live, and it was amazing). It's funny though, your video is somewhat transparent (for copywrite issues), and you have Ren on your wall right behind it, so I kept laughing every time it looked like Ren popped up in the video. 😆😆

As a White American I've had the same thing happen most my life. For a magnitude of reasons, my mom has lived within a stone's throw from Canada since I was in 1st grade, when we moved there my accent was different from the Canadian accent, then it flopped and when I'd go out of town I'd get it alot as well. I got it for dressing different. My friends and I would get targeted by cops anytime anything happened in the small town, 11 years old I got pinned up against a house by a cop he had his forearm across my neck and had lifted me enough to where his forearm was keeping my feet off the ground while he screamed "stop lying you stupid fuck" (I had just got back to town from my dad's after being gone for months and had no idea what was going on. I got shit for dating women who are native,black asian and hispanic, i got shit fot having friends outside my race, I could go on and on... Blaming it on racism is just dumb *to me*, people are just morons and hate anything that's slightly different, my niece was getting bullied by kids in her class and older people around town because she had her hair dyed black and red... took me along time and a trip in and out of prison to learn to just ignore those ignorant and arrogant people.
