Jid is the best rapper on this new generation. His cadence, flow, everything. This man is a lyrical genius
@byHexted2 жыл бұрын
No wayyy I LOVE Jid but if we talking LYRICAL genius people like billy woods Ka, Roc Marciano and even the Griselda guys are at least at the same level as JID. Watch the shady cypher with conway and Benny, or really any cypher with the two of them they’re really as good as you can get with that style imo, but billy woods is wayyy denser lyrically then practically everyone else in hip hop there’s only a few other rappers in that group like Aesop rock, milo and myka 9
@blackstartoad50082 жыл бұрын
@@byHexted Griselda ain‘t touching Jid, as far as multi syllable rhymes -and flow wise. Jid goes into way many pockets tries new flows and cadences whereas griselda sticks more or less to their usual rhyme patterns. Haven’t listen to the other guys you mentioned though, they seem like some underground rappers?

Def the most versatile in the flows. Over anyone right now especially Griselda
@BonesWasTaken112 жыл бұрын
@Hexted ka might have the best bars ever, but he's too much of a specialist; he basically has no flow.. If you're taking every aspect of lyricism, jid is better. Also, I like griselda, but come on, they're not even close.

Your reaction when JID starts is the exact reaction I had. The way that beat drops it's impossible to not feel that shit in your soul.
@watty6132 жыл бұрын
Okay so the last couple lines when he says, “The same lil n****s small pond, but a pool shark. I aim, big stick, knock, chalk off cue balls,” he means a few different things. So obviously it’s a whole pool analogy, like pool/billiards. But when he says the “small pond” part, he means the oldhead haters that only hear themselves and their own opinions, thus the small pond. Obviously jid is the pool shark. Big stick is a double meaning for a cue stick and (obviously) gun. The chalk off cue balls has another double meaning because in pool you chalk up your cue stick then aim at the cue ball, so chalk would come off the cue ball once you hit it. The other meaning is he knocks off a cue ball (ie an old head as a cue ball is another word for a bald person) and to chalk them off is like a crime scene where the police surround a dead body with chalk (or chalk them off)
