While we're discussing production, I thought it was interesting that Em is listed in the production credits for almost every song on this album with the exception of Gnat and Killer. A few of the songs he even produced on his own. Something tells me good things are coming if he can take that crazy lyrical work ethic and apply it to beat production.

When you have someone with this much lyrical and rhythmic ingenuity, how many beat makers can construct schemes that don’t constrain Em? He’s probably at the point where he’s composing the beat as he writes the rhyme schemes. Not saying no one can keep up, but the way Em flows, I doubt the beat comes before the lyrics (he’s not writing lyrics looking for a song). TOTAL LYRICAL AND FLOW CONTROL!

People talking shit about his beat selection don’t understand the fact that he don’t select beats to make hit songs anymore, he picks and tweaks beats to create a perfect symbiosis with his cadence. I've listened to em my entire life but if I had to guess, I would say that he probably has a lot of this stuff written already. He may stitch together a bunch of different lines that he has that correlate with each other but then in certian instances, it sounds like he writes a whole verse entirely based off of the beat. Basically, it's both depending on what exactly he is trying to accomplish in any circumstance.
