Loosen the 2 bigsby screws that go in the vibra mate until the tuning will hold. That ll solve most of the tuning issues.

I don't understand why Gibson/clones don't offer a roller to replace the stop bar - this would allow use of a Bigsby without the integral roller (B3, B6?)? My Gibson ES335 - 1963) has a Bigsby without the roller and I have to use the stop bar to keep the strings below the bridge level - a roller to replace the stop bar would be a perfect fix!

The Towner bar is exactly what you’re describing, look it up!

@@zacharykim295 - yes, I have one but it is pretty flimsy. A Gibson stop bar without the front slots would do the job!

Thanks for the video. I have just installed a B7 with the Vibramate on my Les Paul and tuning is turning out to be an issue. I have 2 other guitars with factory Bigsbys and they are fine. I'm not sure about the Vibramate. How are you finding it 12 months later?

Mine still works. I did put some lube in the nut slots.
