Since I recently got my H90 I´m binge watching your channel, especially bc of the to-the-point videos you did! They help a lot so I have to say a big THANK YOU! One question: Is it possible - like in the H9 - to limit the amount of Programms on my dedicated user list, e.g. I only use 5 different programms so 5 would be enough in ths particular list to me?

Hi, I watched the whole video and I think you missed the main purpose of the HK which is to change MULTIPLE parameters at once on different ranges and even decrease some while increasing others all at the same time. I also noticed you tried to use the hot knob to adjust its range but that”s actually done with the first 2 small knobs… anyway, I’ve enjoyed your videos just wanted to point out maybe the reason you don’t like that feature is you haven’t discovered its functionality …. (Sorry for my English)

Hi, very good point - thank you. I did realise that is the function of the hot knob, but didn't show it used that way. Tried to keep it simple!

Great video. However if you use output 3 for inserting another pedal, do you lose the ability to come out of the H90 in stereo?

"Please note that modifying the files on your SD card voids your warranty" might not be true in all cases, espacilly if you are in the EU / Germany. There is also a difference between warranty and guarantee".In the case of the statutory warranty, the manufacturer or dealer cannot use the opening of the device as a blanket reason for excluding claims. It must be proven that opening the device caused the defect. In that case Neural DSP are deliberately trying to intimidate users by pointing out the loss of the warranty. Which is a shame and unnecessary. I love the Quad Cortex and the support from Neural otherwise does often a good job! WARNING ! If you open the QC: make sure that no static (electrical) discharge can reach your open Quad Cortex or its electronics! Unfortunately, no precautions are taken in the video! When you open the Quad Cortex, take the opportunity to insert an "SD card extension cable" to access the SD card from the outside. This opens up the opportunity to create regular system image backups! In the event of a defective SD card, you can also use this to create a new SD card and thus effectively protect yourself against data loss. It also helps against failed updates. So there are many good reasons to have a system image backup.

Thank you very kindly for your in-depth and comprehensive videos on this wonderful tool . I recently received my H90 this week. My pal , maestro Joe Burger who works for Eventide helped design several of the algorithms in the H90 , gave me basic instructions on using it this past Saturday when I visited him. Your instructions however goes much more in depth and it’s precisely what I require to set it up for live’ performances and or gigging. Joe , travels the world demonstrating in seminars for Eventide as well. I am very excited to learn all that I can. Thank you

Great video series. One thing I tried was to change a performance foot switch to the Flex control (whammy preset and switch acted as moving a pedal to toe down) but it would always reset the switches when I moved away from the preset then returned despite saving the preset. Any ideas why this might happen?

So im still not understanding why a standard mustang/jag neck wouldn't fit on a Jagmaster body
@GuitarStuffChannel
@GuitarStuffChannel 2 ай бұрын
I'm a bit out of date on this, but the jagmaster bodies are not all the same. The design of the body needs to know in advance what kind of neck is going on it - otherwise it doesn't work. If a jagmaster body is designed for 24 inch scale then a jaguar neck will go on (assuming it fits in the pocket). This video is about conversion from one scale to another.
@seangladish2539
@seangladish2539 2 ай бұрын
@GuitarStuffChannel well first off thanks for actually responding, but what I was getting at is I actually read in a few forums that a regular Jag/Mustang neck wouldn't go on a 24" Jagmaster UNLESS it was the Japanese vista.
@GuitarStuffChannel
@GuitarStuffChannel 2 ай бұрын
@@seangladish2539 Again, can't quite remember all of my research, but I think that there were a few different versions. 24 inch conversion neck, 25.5 neck and true 24 inch neck. I think the last one was the japanese vista, which is the reason that it is the only one that fits a jag neck.

I have a GIGRIG G3, and I am trying to set up my expression pedal from my G3 to operate the Global mix for whatever preset have chosen. On my G3, the options I can program are as follows:, Channel, Heel, Toe, and control. Not sure what I would set the H90 to do?. I tried picking CC#2 for the channel # but my H90 is actually on Channel 1, Not sure if you have any pointers for me lol. This G3 works seamlessly with Strymon but Eventide is really fighting me. (Not sure if this even makes sense lol, I am confused)
@GuitarStuffChannel
@GuitarStuffChannel 2 ай бұрын
I can't really troubleshoot from here, but at least you need to transmit midi on the correct channel (to match the H90 channel). I think when you say 'control' you mean which CC number the H90 is expecting. Heel and Toe set the range - say from 0 to 100.

Hi, please can you tell me whether you would recommend using an attenuator, such as an Ox, with the Hook Wizard? In other words, if I want to push the amp to get particular tones but want to keep the volume down to avoid disturbing other people, would turning the Master of the Wizard down be sufficient to retain the quality of the tone or would an Ox be helpful to achieve the tone of a pushed amp while keeping the volume down? Many thanks.
