Mr. Wooten that was an awesome lesson. Your 5 stroke roll lesson is a study in itself. Your 7 stroke roll lesson is an even much higher study in itself. I will struggle with these until one day I won't struggle with them......now fully reminded of how conscious I must be with having patience. These are definitely going to be works in progress. Thanks for your great lessons. You have worked hard to earn title of being an amazing player!

must admit this lesson was much more useful for me after clicking the cog to play at half speed & 2 quarter speed, John sounds like he's drunk on this setting but I could see what's going on and play along.

Been playing self taught "drum set" for more than 40 years, but a few years ago thanks to YT finally got into rudiments. Whole other world! No wonder I could not understand all those legendary cats, Gadd, Weckl etc. I really missed the boat during my most active years.
