That Gold crusher battery looks amazing. It's amazing how it's still intact. One place needs to be preserved.

Hey Trev, definitely. The remoteness of the site I think has helped with that. The people going there have some respect for history. Think about the logistics of getting something like that out there, pre 1900...... Well worth a look if you're in the area.

Thx guys hats off to you guys who hit the high country on two wheels. Green Creek battery is worth the effort to get to it if you like historic stuff.

Agreed Greg. That definitely needs bracing and its an easy fix Jason. Thanks for another trip.

@@michaelnugara1 yeah bracing done plus an improvement

Interesting historical spot! I think that 700m walk is the reason it's still standing by reducing vandalism.

Could be on to something there! That and the 16km drive in to get there from a fairly remote road as well.

Hi Jason, I own DOT211, I have angle brackets welded into each corner of the top rack. My trailer did the Cape last year without any issues

I'd really like to see a video of deep creek tracks and army track. I'm heading over to gods country in my 76 over Easter if your keen to see what your car can actually do

On the list to get down to Walhalla. It's the backyard for Luce who is on most trips with me. Did go down army track in my paj but that was probably 3yrs ago now. Likely changed a bit.

I'm happy for you to tag along on my trip when I come over the week before Easter if your keen I have a well setup 76 series too

Way too late now, but you could have cut some timber’s to fit under the frame of the RTT to support it.

Definitely a practical solution and with the strap stopping lateral movement might have worked, just didn't want to risk further damage. If heading home hadn't been an option we probably would have figured this option out eventually :-)
