The moment Vic spoke about his infidelity and the twin women, I fell a shock of realism in my support for Vic. Let me explain, I've defended Vic from the start, I believe he is innocent, his infidelity was a low blow that made me question him for a split second, but then I thought to myself, who am I to judge him, the man is not perfect, and stated that his infidelity and various mistakes do not represent his Christian faith, the man hit low grounds, he knows it, owns it and regrets it and learned from there. We're all human who eventually for reasons hit low points, we later choose to come back from there. Morally I'd be disappointed, but humanly, trying to fix his values, makes me support him even more, he genuinly feels sorry for many things and what he says, everything feels so honest. This man is like any of us. I keep my feet on standing with Vic. He is innocent.

Thank you for taking the time to present these depositions and video moments during this lawsuit. Those videos are much more informative than what we get on Twitter. Since January I have heard about the KickVic controversy and, like many, I was shocked by the Twitter trials and the way certain websites behaved themselves when they presented their articles. What made me more supportive of Vic Mignogna was when certain people, who met Vic and whose photos were used in Anti-Vic articles, protested to those websites that they were distorting those photos and their encounters, that Vic was very nice with them, and that these articles were lies. Which says a lot about the integrity of those news sites. Indeed, if they were so serious in their claims over Vic Mignogna being an unpleasant character, why this necessity to lie and invent situations that never happened? To me something rotten is going on and I hope this lawsuit will shed some new lights about this matter. Though from what I have noticed in this deposition and the researches I did, it is evident the success Vic has had over his work did not please certain people and they took advantage of this whole MeToo frenzy to backstab a man whose mistakes were to trust people too easily and for being over sympathetic/expressive/jokerish in his feelings and thoughts with people in conventions; inadvertently offending them in the process (especially when in some conventions you have some people that are very introverted and not comfortable in social interactions). As for Vic's adultery, that is not up to me to judge this matter which I think Vic regrets profoundly. But what I can state is that every time I saw Vic behave with fans , I saw someone very expressive and kind with people who took time to speak with them; whereas with Sean Shemmel, Jamie Marchi, Chris Sabat, and Monica Rial, I have always noticed with them weird behaviours. Haughtiness, rudeness, patronising attitudes, and hypocrisy that others reported on KZbin. But which these actors pulled on Twitter also. Good things fans have printed these tweets and show them online. They reveal the true nature of these people. To me, I think this story has exposed the arrogance of certain actors working at Funimation, but also the management culture of that company. Problem that were present for several years considering what I read on these two websites. www.indeed.com/cmp/Funimation/reviews. www.glassdoor.ca/Reviews/FUNimation-Reviews-E381678.htm. Among the problems I read from former employees, they denounce lack of management, individualistic behaviours, everyone saves its own skin culture, haughtiness toward fans, etc. Stuff that definitely discourages patrons to purchase their products. As for me, I have practically watched their shows subbed as I learn Japanese. But regarding Dragon Ball Super, I intend to purchase Region 2 dvds instead, In the end, the behaviours/hypocrisies of certain actors and actresses at Funimation have made me lose so much respect for that company. And as for the trial Vic does, I do hope he will be able to prove his innocence. #IStandWithVic

Always lovely when someone can throw unnecessary jabs at a person and object little puny details or emotions that come with an answer to awful questions. While going out of their way to expose someone and potentially ruin their marriage in the court of law. What a piece of filth.
@Xedhadeaus5 жыл бұрын
@FuturePants Obviously, but I think it went over your head. my problem with it is that it is similar to being brought in for something else when what you were convicted of something that you didn't do. Like a cop stopping you because he thought you weren't wearing your seatbelt, and giving you a ticket for whatever else just because you're stopped. It's outrageous, and an abuse of power. If I thought you were saying something mean to someone and find out you weren't I'm not going to talk about your feet, or breath or teeth or whatever it is you do or did wrong because you're in the spotlight. Because it has absolutely nothing to do with why I am there. That's my point.
@Xedhadeaus5 жыл бұрын
@FuturePants Where did I call you stupid? I just said it went over your head because you think I am okay with cheating when I feel it has nothing to do with the case. Obviously that cheating was clearly consentual on both parties, which would make it pointless to the case. The fact that Vic cannot say his own opinions without being entirely politically correct, while the other person just calls him creepy is outrageous. The example I provided to you that was even remotely close to name calling was an EXAMPLE, provided to display how they were treating Vic. Like hey, Breathe in this breathilizer, damn, you're not drunk, but you have something hanging from your mirror, so here's a ticket. It's stupid to me. You seemed to have done a 180 in your other comment, but I just wanted to point out that no insults were made... I come in peace.

I was in the same boat. For 4 years. Only very recently within the last week have things gotten largely healed. The major player is time away from the source of the stress and trauma. That can either come from distancing yourself from the source, or fixing the source. In the meantime, I recommend recording EVERY conversation. Always have an audio / video recorder ready to record when you anticipate an interaction with them... I regret not being ready or able to capture some nonsense they said or did at times. Having proof and validation of their nonsense, and having ammo to maybe share with a third party when you're ready to reach out for help. I also regretted trying to fix the source. I didn't think people could be so fucking unreasonable and bone-headed to not understand objective evidence and logic. Repeatedly prove over and over how they're egregiously wrong... like literal PROOF they acknowledge, but the next few days or weeks they repeat the same nonsense. Over the years, everyone but them (parents) would side with me, but they'd still be abusive and psychologically manipulative, the stress would be high. But I stayed firm to my beliefs, mainly because I had no choice to leave, due to my PTSD making me unemployed, and the nature of my PTSD (false allegations in a post-MeToo world) made me distrust the world and prevented me from seeking help. At one point the screaming and abuse just broke my mind further and made me even more numb and dissociated. It was at this point, I said to myself "I regret thinking I could fix them. I never realized they would be so fking dumb." And for several months after that, I was at my lowest with my memory and identity and personality largely changing on a day-to-day, several-hours basis. What changed recently however, is after a big fight regarding the CV jabs, of which I'm unjabbed, my parents were doing their usual crap with the arguments and gaslighting, nonsensical screaming and arguing... but I stuck hard with the facts and basically owned their arguments. While my dad was screaming and yelling about my unjabbed status, I told him "there's a reason why children and young healthy people are not being recommended to getting the jabs. They're very unlikely to get sick." My dad screamed back saying how I'm so dumb and stupid and how the kids "HAVE TO GET JABBED TOO." But my mom chimed in and said "actually, he's right, they're not making kids get the jabs yet." I immediately retorted: "SEE? You don't even know wtf you're talking about yet you keep talking a bunch of nonsense!" It was after that moment about 3-4 weeks ago that he stopped giving me shit. Started to become calm and eerily pleasant in fact. Same for my mom about 3 weeks later following a similar argument where I stuck my foot down and egged her to verify if my DIVOC information is true or false. I kept calling her bluff to call a doctor or expert she said she'll contact in order to "prove how I'm wrong," and I said if she ain't gonna call, then I will. I said she likes talking a bunch of nonsense and repeating what she's heard when she's never actually even looked at the scientific papers or hear what actual doctors think. I said she says she understands now and will concede, but I called her out and said she "keeps saying this same shit, but every few days and every few weeks, we have the same damn arguments again and again. I'm tired of arguing with you when you clearly don't learn or remember what you said and keep bringing old arguments up that we already resolved." When she continued to say she understood, I kept refusing to believe or trust her, reiterating this shit has happened for YEARS now and told her everyone else keeps calling her out on her behaviour yet she never listens to them either. After that day, she calmed down and became eerily pleasant after that too. It took me until now, about 2 weeks free from their nonsense, to have healed to the point I can think clearly again. I still am distrustful this peace will last, and distrustful of their character that they can change so quickly and have it stick. I would not recommend my path. It was only through chance they relented and one ongoing source of the trauma was resolved. There was no guarantee this would have fixed itself. It was only through my staying strong and refusing to sacrifice the truth and my integrity in order to kowtow to their nonsense, and my rock-solid logic and confidence. If they had continued to be stubborn, I'd be in worse shape. Before, things had broken down so badly that I was already seriously regretting being a naive optimist years ago, thinking that I could change them for the better. I suffered needlessly for years in the hopes I could change them, to the point I broke. But I continued going and I resolved it... somehow. It feels like a Pyrrhic victory because I had to suffer so much to get to an unguaranteed anticlimactic result. There was no formal apology or acknowledgement that I was right. I am still not used to there not being any gaslighting or false accusations or yelling. But at least for now a lot of the pain and trauma has dissipated... probably coincidence due to the sheer amount of time passed from my initial trauma from 2017. Even now I don't know if I'm truly cured or it's just temporary. Just earlier in the day, I was confused and having memory and identity problems. The day before too. But recently the bad days are less bad, and the good days are more good and coming more often. I'll probably be back to confused and angry when I go to sleep tonight as well, not knowing the next time I will be lucid again. I think it's been a few weeks from today since I was somewhat lucid; and it has been 4+ years since I was last this lucid. I'd like to listen to you and share my experience and advice if you feel like you can trust me and would benefit. Even just earlier today and yesterday when I was feeling lost and angry, numb, dissociated, I wished I would have trustworthy people who would understand and help. I still wish for that, and am making plans to find and reach out to those people.
