I was raised Catholic and had to leave that faith and have spent many years looking for a home ... God has always walked with me but recently I have tentatively found a home in the Church of England. Thanks for your honesty Cat. I wish you were my vicar, you speak so well and seem full of the Spirit.

You have edified and blessed me with this video. I was nurtured in the Roman Catholic Church and am currently worshipping in the Episcopal Church (USA), part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. So many figures in both traditions nourish and sustain me. But my 28 years of adult Catholicism were blighted by brittleness and judgemental attitudes, picking at other folks' splinters while ignoring my own lumberyard! I was also disheartened by the endless cycle of obligation and prohibition in my baptismal communion. It's good to see someone who finds joy and life in her faith. Thank you, Rev. Connolly. Peace and light.

I have by way of studying Theology at a Roman Catholic College, found my way to the Anglican Church of Canada (Same Communion as Episcopal and Church of England) I am now applying for ordination in the priesthood. I love the worship cycle of the Anglican Church which is identical to monasticism -it is very ancient and beautiful.

Awesome video. I really liked the phrase where you said " By listening to somebody else talk about their faith on how it's impacted their lifes, hearing people talk about other christians who have taught and inspired them that helps us to reflect on our own faith stories" THis was really powerful. Thank you!

I pray your channel grows, Cat! Thank you so much for sharing this story of your faith. Faith is a gift from God, and hard to put into a chronology I guess. God has heard your words and thoughts from before the foundations, now and into eternity. Thanks for sharing- you are meant to be here! 🌹

Jesus did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it. My prayers are with you Cat. Thank you for your witness. 🌿 "For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments."
