I'm heading out to supervise the building of my 5th O'Reilly auto parts store in a few weeks. They are great to work with. My favorite part is when their army of people show up to stock the store. I'm building a 53 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup drag and drive with a 6-71/nitrous blown Straight 6 292 and a manual. I need a sponsor, LOL.

Love this!!! The best recyclers ever were those born, raised up in or lived through the depression! I learned from my grandparents who did! And obviously, Derek, did as well bein' that he grew up on a farm around folks that made do with what they had around them and now has that love to reuse and save! We are not hoarders! When I was active duty air force I worked at the local O'Reilly part time for the employee discount to fund my projects. Now, over 10 years later, O'Reilly is still my go-to brick and mortar parts store. Where I was located in North Dakota, there's a greater than zero chance I served Derek or a member of his family at some point.

Too many people get an older classic with good intentions, get it home tear it apart find more rust than metal have boxes of parts, see the prices to fix it and are overwhelmed. Then you see this car again on Marketplace, in 15-20 boxes totally destroyed and they want their money back.. Or, what I'm seeing lately on Marketplace Lost title or Bill of sale No Title. That's fine if your building a drag car that will never be street legal or a burn out car again not street legal but for those of us who want to make it run & drive that No Title is a big red flag. Thank you O'Reilly and VGG I use my O'Reilly in Copperas Cove Texas a lot.
