Michael K. Williams is fuckin' brilliant! Definitely, one of the best in the business. So thank you Vice, for the best interview I've seen, with Michael K. Hearing Michael explain his acting process, was amazing. And he shows it, in every character, I've seen him play. His presence on screen, is fuckin' powerful & now I have a better understanding, of how he brings it. Also, when Michael speaks, you can tell there is nothing phony about the man. He is raw & real! #indeed

I freaking love Boardwalk and Wire, but let’s calm down about how good Williams was. It was basically the same character. He barely changed his accent, beyond the random times he decided to use a BMore accent. Well, there were certain words he always used a BMore accent with, but for the most part his accent came and went like Benny Cumberbatch doing an American accent. Both performances were great, but let’s calm down on how “great” they were. He spent the first 3 seasons of Wire spun up on coke. Pretty easy to see it once you know, then you can’t unsee it. It’s crazy.
@KelticTim3 жыл бұрын
@@loyshaw935 lots of folks don’t get that option. They get hurt, or have surgery and the Dr gives them heroin pills, next thing you know you’re hooked on dope with no explanation for your brand new addiction. The lucky ones don’t put two and two together, and after a few days feeling like crap, they get on with their lives. The not so lucky ones, well they figure out that taking another pill wipes out the sick feeling you have instantly. Most ppl choose to get rid of the sick feeling, not realizing they are just setting themselves up for disaster.

And now he dies exactly 25 years after Tupac was shot in Vegas. Passed on waaaaaay to early. His acting is always on point. He inspires me as much as DeNiro. On the one hand so warm and caring, but he could also play totally traumatised and hysterical roles. Seeing Omar lose his mind in the Wire can really hurt still. Im gonna miss his work so much in the future!! Maybe his passing will inspire me to get on back into acting. Having such an example never fades.
