As someone who grew up around a lot of Russians, I agree. In America this could rub people the wrong way, but she wasn't being rude. It's just cultural, and in their culture they say what they mean and straight to the point, but are good people when you get to know them and adjust to it. Just don't expect most of them to sugarcoat anything for you, including their jokes, lol

Taji has the right personality to get along with anyone. That person may have contracted MRSA there, but you can contract it at many places such as nail salons, pools, etc.

From what I understand, MRSA is quite prevalent on everyday surfaces, its a type of staph bacteria and it only becomes dangerous once it gets it gets in the blood-stream/under the skin. That's why we mostly hear cases about it occurring in people recovering after a surgery. A plastic surgeon in my city got in trouble because several of his patients developed MRSA infections after having reconstructive surgery. So for someone to acquire a MRSA infection at a spa, they'd have to have some sort of open wound that got exposed to the bacteria. IMO that's not really the owners fault. Its the person's responsibility to keep their wound clean, and/or covered with a bandage. In my opinion they would have been just as likely to contract that sort of infection in a gym, a dressing room, a shower, swimming pool, etc.
