This is normal back in the day where they give other family without children or friend who want children to adopt their sibling so they could have a better life, also adoption doesn't mean secrecy from another sibling, they being take care and love the same by the guardian mother and father. My mother is adopt by my grandma friend, and so does other as well, my aunt from another state also adopt by my father side grandma. Also there no legal paper work involve, you be suprise how children are understanding the situation.

unfortunately, most parents only adopt one child. It's really hard to find someone that's willing to take on two and even harder to take on three, this is why you hear about siblings being split up and adopted out so often.

I think it's ok to separste siblings as long as none of them is older than about 2-2.5 years. that way they won't remember - the earliest memories that stay long term are formed at 3-4 years old for most people.
