Every, every car starts its life as a polished show-piece that you're afraid to drive. Its through necessity, opportunity, and invention that they evolve into the gems with all its imperfections. Every car, no matter how unloved, earns its way to gem-hood simply by surviving the test of time. Love this car! Owner will be very happy.

Bang on the money. For years Derek was teaching us how even an idiot can fix a car, pretending to be an idiot but we always knew he wasn't. What a great entertainer. See he's taking more of a back seat nowadays which is what happens when you become successful after working from the roots up, widens the audience and ups the game, still incredible to watch for free! Every now and then he goes back to trying to get a wreck partially roadworthy driving for miles in through rain with oil spraying on the windshield, temperature gauge going crazy, no brakes and you never know if he will make it or not, which for me is the best.

You guys do a great job. Being a disabled vet myself, I love seeing you taking care of a brother. Your not far from where I spent most of my career up at Ft. Campbell with 5th SFG.

I've been to a couple car meets at their Tacoma location. For being a detail shop that place is super clean and everyone was really friendly. They also had a mini museum inside that is super cool.

So bout 7 years ago I found Griot's products. I am truly a shade tree detailer. Only do my stuff or friends. Two years ago I did a friends neglected Boxster. He sold it last year. Everyone looking at it thought it had a fresh repaint. I'll never not buy Griot's. Thanks Derek!

"Welcome to episode 2" (while holding up 4 fingers)...and barely even a grin about it. Those goofy little things Derek does crack me up and what makes this channel so much fun.

I like this direction, Derek. Some weird "tv show knockoffs", more tech, some cool guests. Don't get me wrong, I get a kick outta watching you drive an old V8 Chebby with no brakes as much as the next guy, but this is good stuff!
