I just wanted to take a second and say that as much as I like the revivals I really like seeing you work at home and interact with your family. I know you work 7 days a week and work hard so knowing you can take a few minutes here and there to spend time with family while you are making the video makes me feel better watching it. I feel guilty watching you ride in late at night with a revival knowing you have to head right back out again the next day. God bless.

Ok...no. You can MAYBE say that about the gunTubers, but even they're really a bunch of exclusive cliques, as far as community goes. The "community" is huge. How many times have you seen the guys from grind hard on this channel? Fab rats? Robbie Layton? Sam Crac? That black dude that works on Teslas? I could go on and list a hundred more because there are hundreds of relatively popular car channels. People make friends and show up in each other's channels. That isn't watching out for the community...
@sippigrrrl
@sippigrrrl 7 ай бұрын
@@kender1412Uh, what? Isn’t showing up in each other’s videos by definition supporting the community? Smaller channels get the chance to work with bigger channels, and they get to have more eyes on them. What, perchance, do you suggest they do differently?
@kender1412
@kender1412 7 ай бұрын
@@sippigrrrl -- Hanging out with five or ten people over the course of as many years is not participating in community. We aren't talking about people from new or small channels getting a leg up, either. We're talking about people with a largish established fan base that's already steadily growing (which is what you have to be to even be on these people's radar) getting a bit of a bump. It's just a good 'ole boys' club in the middle of a bunch of other separate good 'ole boys' clubs that is cartubers on this service. That's not community, it's a more adult version of highschool cliques.

Wiring 101, Engine 102. The primary reason is that you don't want to chase engine issues and wiring issues at the same time. If the wiring is correct, it eliminates electrical issues beyond spark/ignition. Just makes life easier. The secondary reason is a short can damage expensive engine electronic or electrical components. Enjoying this build and frequent videos...

Agreed... However, this is VGG and the right way is usually not the way. However, in this case, it's a choice and not something forced upon Derek so I hope he sees this and follows the request and advice. Get all the wiring planned, ran, and functioning and then just drop a plug and play engine in there. Plus, you can even plan and account for the engine while you're doing the wiring for less hassle.

In the 60s my dad had a old Jeep pickup. He put a 327ci V8 in and used it for plowing snow. He ran two stacks up the back side of the cab for the exhaust. It sounded great and looked good.

This was a good series so far. I enjoy watching Dave work with anybody, such a rad guy. Hoping you take the frame and use it as a template to build a new frame. That thing is swiss cheese and needs to be recycled.

Even my dog finds Derek s voice comforting. She knows the intro song and gets comfortable when it comes on. As a younger man I watched my boss manually mount a Bridgestone semi tire on an Alcoa wheel with nothing but his anger on a 90° day. I never questioned his resolve to do something if he was motivated. I learned a lot about life working for him.

I was the hero once. Broken throttle cable in nowhere South Dakota during a blizzard. It is possible to use the bolts for a bed frame and get yourself going again. Sure, idle speed is 2000rpm and there's no need to use cruise control for the 300 miles home but we didn't freeze to death and I made my date on time!

I love the red dually the most. Love the colour, the wheels, the stance, it's not too over the top it just looks awesome and I bet it goes pretty well with that engine. Of course the new build is looking pretty cool as well. I wish I lived there so I could come to a show, but at least I get to watch here. Thanks for all your hard work, I love your content.

I really hope you clean that "weak" looking Frame up Derek and "Box in" that whole frame because when you start hammering the gas on that puppy you'll get cracks in it and maybe you won't notice and one day you could be a speed cruising on a back road or worst yet a highway and "Snap" frame breaks badly and a terrible accident !! 😲😧😵 I've been meaning to bring this Frame up since you started this, Please Take the time and Box & gusset this "Very Bad" Frame Derek ! 👍 Semper Fi
