We know the Russians did it even though they don't produce it in Russia and NEVER DID, it was made in another former soviet country who has NO REASON TO SMEAR RUSSIA OF COURSE! Of course it could just be an error or it could be an excuse to heat up the oil pipeline proxy war in Syria against the legitimate Democratically elected Assad government! Comes with the job, you become a spy or double agent you should be ready for the consequences, its war after all and they are soldiers. That being said, why isn't the question about why a nerve agent was used in this day and age when a more likely scenario from either side would of used far more conventional means to take his life. I hate conspiracy theories as much as the next normal sane person, but it does bring up certain questions on why such a poison be used if it was easily traceable back to the source. I just cant see how any modern agency especially Russia with its vast experience make such a glaring amateur mistake.
@rolandthethompsongunner643 жыл бұрын
Apparently this particular agent is able to be synthesized rather easily. If the comments above are true. As to why use a chemical agent to murder anyone is culpability. That is, if it can’t easily be traced to its source. But then there is the other evidence such as Russian history of chemical assassinations.

So far, if I am understanding correctly, the use of Novichok is a marker, or signature that Russia wants the other side to know that it was them, to send a message. The attempts by Putin to say it was the other side that poisoned them is really only a propaganda tactic for the citizens of Russia alone, not anyone else because it is not believable in the slightest. The only instances of Novichok poisonings were from motives of Russian forces. 1. Ivan Kivelidi and Zara Ismailova: either a business dispute in Russia with state influence, or a framing by the Russian forces. 2. Sergei and Yulia Skripal, Charlie Rowly and Dawn Sturgess: almost certain to be a retaliation by Russia to being a double agent for the UK. 3. Emilian Gebrev: The attempt was ultimately linked to the influential Bulgarian politician and oligarch Delyan Peevski who has historically been funded by Russia's state-owned VTB Bank. 4. Navalny: Certain to be due to Navalny being a formidable political rival that exposes Putin's corruption and misdeeds.

I'm pretty sure getting that older gentleman in this video along with other scientists who had worked in the USSR's massive WMD projects over the years became a very high priority for the USA right after the collapse of communism & dissolution of the Soviet Union. The economy was in ruins for most of the 1990's and that included their military industrial complex. They were out of work practically overnight. Their first concern was likely how were they now going to provide for their families and keep food on the table. The last thing the US or European governments wanted to see was these highly skilled scientists being recruited by the highest bidder. Probably being sent to work for Iran, North Korea, or even Al Qaeda which was still in it's early days of global terrorism in the '90s. I think whatever they paid them to come live and work over here in the United States was an absolute bargain compared to the costs we would have faced down the road if our leaders at the time hadn't been so proactive. 👍🙂

Novichok has been synthesized in lethal amounts by Iranian university students simply studying it, how to produce the compound is in the public record, the chemicals required to produce it are not strictly regulated, and it is beyond likely that the UK (and virtually any state which actively maintains a chemical weapons program) possesses Novichok agents. It could be produced in any decent professional or university lab, and by any chemist just about, though to varying degrees of success. Remember that Porton Down is only 7 miles outside of Salisbury (where the attack occured), Porton Down having been where the VX nerve agent was developed militarily. It's as likely that an oligarch Skripal pissed off years ago ordered the attempted killing as it is that the Russian government was responsible, and regardless it could have been a multitude of other parties.

They were able to get the worm in by giving free usb drives at trade shows where the engineers who worked at the plant would be. But besides that there are lots of great examples of how hackers, if they wanted to, can get into your vehicles and manipulate everything from your windows to your engine or be able to shut down waste reclamation and water distribution systems.
