When things were at their very worst: 2 Suns, Cross in the sky, 2 comets will collide = don`t be afraid - repent, accept Lord`s Hand of Mercy. Scientists will say it was a global illusion. Beware - Jesus will never walk in flesh again. After WW3 - rise of the “ man of peace“ from the East = Antichrist - the most powerful, popular, charismatic and influential leader of all time. Many miracles will be attributed to him. He will imitate Jesus in every conceivable way. Don`t trust „pope“ Francis = the False Prophet - will seem to rise from the dead - will unite all Christian Churches and all Religions as one. One World Religion = the seat of the Antichrist. Benedict XVI is the last true pope - will be accused of a crime of which he is totally innocent. "Many events, including ecological upheavals, wars, the schism in My Church on Earth, the dictatorships in each of your nations - bound as one, at its very core - will all take place at the same time." There was a good article that pointed to the fact the school he attended was also compromised of kids of corrupt business families such as the Trumps so it was just a breeding ground of white collar criminally minded young men and women. A person acquiring money from their job, typically will know how much they'll be financially earning! Or know the specific number of hours they'll need to work, to earn the figure that's of interest. Rich people know the average person's lifestyle and the specific route they chose for earning financially, doesn't buy them multiple holidays every year! Don't have the resources to drive the fastest cars, live in the most luxurious homes and dine at the finest of restaurants! So this then makes it easy for the rich people to avoid the choices of average people and pursue routes that provide a luxurious lifestyle!

@the_local_bigamist
@the_local_bigamist 2 жыл бұрын
It is a pretty stupid movie tho. Seems to be big amongst fanboy types who simp for the caricature of Jordan, who was nothing like the character in the movie. Scorcese did it before with Goodfellas: it made Henry Hill look like a bigshot when in reality he was just a pathetic addict (not judging addicts), wannabe gangster and, of course, total rat. Being played by Ray Liotta in this glamorous flick was worlds apart from the reality, all based on a book which was sensationalized in itself in order to make Henry Hill seem bigger than he was. Same with WoWS - based on a book by a guy who exaggerated, bended the truth and even made stuff up to make himself appear a lot more interesting, dynamic and audacious than he really was. The problem with Scorcese is that he indulges these people and takes their stories at face value, rather than looking into the stories and the characters that they're based on more objectively. They're fun films but dumb - they feed the ego of those behind the subject matter and fool gullible audience members (mostly young, ambitious men and often very insecure) into thinking that 1) that kind of life is attainable (if even actually remotely realistic) and 2) that these people and their lifestyles are something to emulate. I was into Goodfellas when I was a 14 year old wannabe gangster and I remember seeing Henry Hill on Howard Stern. He and his wife were literally begging for a drink, which they were promised by Stern's staff and, Stern being who he is tortured them with it for a bit and made them wait. It shone a light on who this guy really was - far away from the character portrayed by Ray Liotta. Anyway, we all know that Hollywood is make-believe, aspirational nonsense for people who live mundane lives anyway, right? Its like a form of pornography but, instead of jacking it over simulated sex, you are mentally jacking it over a lifestyle that is 1) either grossly exaggerated or outright fake and 2) completely unattainable, just like pornography of course! However, a realistic, gritty portrayal of the reality of Henry Hill and his miserable existence wouldn't do well at the box office, would it? Although I would love to see that, personally.

Corruption and Nepotism existed way before Najib in many countries everywhere. I’m laughing because everyone seems to be in shock and don’t want to face the music that this is part and parcel of politics. Corruption in Malaysia is honestly not as “expensive” in other countries. KSA asks for bribes in the hundreds of thousands- they just don’t talk about it. Here it’s “RM10 for my pocket money.” People pay taxes here, and some races are not happy. They can pay taxes in Europe- no complaint (white worshippers) but not in a Muslim country - it’s considered “stealing their money.” Now, I’m laughing back at the failed GE and knew it was gonna happen. Oh, boohoo if no one can face the reality of how politics work. Idiots are idiots if they think that the PM makes sole decisions- (oops, the 4th PM did for his own advantage ) but a shocker? Hell NO!!

@@stronk8107 Selfishness, greed and dishonesty. Malaysia needs a reboot, from law enforcement to the judicial system to politicians. Young Malaysians need to get into politics, otherwise it will probably continue with the same corrupt individuals and their families. Malaysia has it all, from its geographical location, the Straits of Melacca to its mineral resources and culture, corruption is preventing any progress. From my observation, corruption seems to be normal in Malaysian society with people joking about the police putting up roadblocks to collect money, for example during Deepavali. People would be furious if that happened in Central Europe for example. Don't say you have no control bro

I believe those who were in Jho Low's inner circle at that time should be equally held accountable for their connection with the man. I remember seeing on the news that Australian super model Miranda Kerr had to return the jewelries gifted to her by Low, it was reported Kerr cried when she was forced to hand over the million dollars worth of jewelries - which got me thinking! The guy just did a massive op of money laundering which possibly entails that some of his investors trusted their retirement money to this bloke IF NOT they're life's savings on his supposed iron-clad investments... And here's this $1M contract model balling her eyes out refusing to return something materialistic (a gift attained from illegal embezzlement, no less)... like what the f¡! They are enablers to these kind of frauds, they do not question nor do a little research on the man/woman they are acquainting themselves with. We should be aware that there's big difference between attending a party hosted by these fraudulent individuals and actually being part of their inner circles of friends, lovers and colleagues so its fair to say celebrities and businessmen are just acquainting themselves with these people to keep up their impressive resume. But my gosh, the VS model with multi-million dollar earnings yearly making a big fuss out of a freaking diamond collections being then fully aware whose money Jho Low was brazenly wasting inexcusably is beyond comprehension. :-\

Well… most of those he used as a leverage to move money around are in places where this is the norm and legal implication is close to zero. One of those people happen to be the UAE ambassador to the US. Guy took close to $100M to assist Jho Low yet he is not facing any known legal repercussion. Meanwhile, he is buying multiple high end properties around Washington DC and NYC 😂.

Huge chunks of the population who don't care that "their side" is corrupt as all hell. At the same time, we the voters can remove these scum. It's simply our lack of will to do it, since the media is 90% pushing us to a "let elites take control" attitude. Whether it's CNBC, Fox News or OAN. They all work for elites. It is always an embarrassment being a malaysian to you guys, yet you stayed and offend every citizen who truly loves this country. Immigration isn't illegal in malaysia and it only cost rm20 to have your citizenship stripped off your benighted self. Have a great life in a country you can truly be proud of. I, for one, just don't want you here anymore.
