When asked about the Conor rematch Dustin said he’s looking forward to testing each other’s will. He got caught in the first fight. He said if he’s a war he’s gonna win ten outta ten times. Hell of a fighter. Im a fan of Conor but I’m also a fan of Dustin. Hoping for that upset, as Dustin said it would mark his name in the history books.

Poirier is a great athlete and has good work ethic. His down fall is his fighting style he's predictable and moves like a robot, he has knockout power but is missing the freedom and fluidity in his art

I like Porier,but I don't see him doing well at lightweight either.If he got out grappled by the Korean Zombie.Also he got knocked out by Conor McGregor(an ex-lightweight) and got knocked down by Diego Brandao,then Pettis,Dos Anjos,Johnson,Barboza etc... will light him up like a Christmas tree.
@chickenisgoodyolo9 жыл бұрын
The weight cut can effect your ability so fake damage. He walks around at 180. It all honesty he will do much better at 55. I use to try and make 45 and I would preform well but not what I could. Going up is the best thing I've done

@johnyoxford10 жыл бұрын
He's a great fighter and I wish him the best of luck, but I personally don't think he'll ever make the top 5 of whatever division he fights at. He was getting rocked at FW so at LW I don't see it going very well.
@eas2610 жыл бұрын
Nate Marquardt got KOd twice in a row at WW and then moved to MW and shredded JTH.
@johnyoxford10 жыл бұрын
Marquardt is a natural MW and always competed at MW, he moved down to WW to compete for a vacant belt, I think. Pretty sure he got a title shot straight away. Also, and no disrespect to TeHuna, but he's on a losing streak and isn't a top 10 fighter.
@eas2610 жыл бұрын
Poirier is a natural lightweight. He started his career at lightweight. You are right about marquarts move to ww tho. Te huna may not be top 10, but he is known for KO power, so marquardt, weak chin and all, went up a weight successfully, despite the increase in power his opponents would possess. Similar to what I think poirier will do. That being said, poirier probs won't break top 5
@holymaryfullofshit379010 жыл бұрын
i think there is a strong possibility he will actually do better. i think he has talent hes young so he has time too develop and hes walking around at 180 meaning he has to do a devastating cut too fight at FW. he will have more power and endurance with the easyier cut for LW.
@htht85610 жыл бұрын
