Ralph is really a drum phrasing beast and the way he pushes a band makes me want to sit directly in front of him so I can see and feel his propulsion ..BEAUTIFUL.....I LOVE YOU RALPH .

That Swiss flam from the snare to the ride was just as visually satisfying as it was musically. Wow

R.I.P. RALPHIE!!! I will never forget our childhood years in Pleasantville N.J.! We played together on the Little League team and "BOY", how Ralph was a beast on the trumpet in the jazz ensemble and the P.H.S. Band. GONE TOO SOON!!!

I've been introduced to Rudimental Ritual in 2011 by one of my teachers who happened to learn with Ralph. Now, 10 years later, I still can't play as fast and effortless as that -__-. Rest in power, Ralph!

Always wanted to ask why he doesn't angle his snare like most traditional grip players. I'm sure there's a reason other than "personal preference" there...
@dressedtosmellgood4 жыл бұрын
it is angled tho
@blindmellaneckbone4 жыл бұрын
@@dressedtosmellgood Must be the angle of the camera because from here, the angle of his left stick looks like there's NO snare angle. Or very little. Playing around with seat height and snare angle (again)

@@blindmellaneckbone it is angled slightly you can see at 4:16
