For Remilia's first spell you can also use the Max Tanuki. 3 lifes with 4 sec. invencibility give enough time to pass the impossible pattern, you can even use the sub mallet to get a free life to help you against the fast knifes c:

Hi, for miko's spell 10-7, use aya's camera to snap the middle ball and left/right ball (I prefer left so, aim in between the middle and left ball). That will destroy two red balls, leaving you with only one ball to dodge. Also, bring the hiding blanket as a last resort when you run out of snaps! ;D

Fitful Nightmare is possible without items ?

Just like some other patterns in this game (like Miko's second one), they are techincally possible since there are no walls at all. But I don't think it's doable for a person, if there isn't a trick that makes the spells easier to dodge.

***** Notice how it rotates around the screen... I think it's doable assuming you can start it off at the right place (seems it rotates 2/3rds of the screen before ending...) I'm not sure how well Seija's movement speed may match up to its rotation though.

rollanddev When you are at the bottom or at the top of the screen, the rotation is very doable. The problem is when you are at the sides, where the rotation is extremly pixel perfect, and at that speed, it's genuinely hard tu control the perfect speed. Even with small hitbox.

This is a little late, but for me the jizo and mallet sub worked better than the lantern for fitful nightmare, it give you more invincibility time and you can afford to be hit by an extra knife without dying. And for Sky of Scarlet Perception of All Youkai, putting the doll diagonally above her head at the right also spawns less bullets.

10-5 is do-able without a statue sub. While holding X, you can direct the orb downwards to get to safety :)

10-7, use camera+mallet to clear two orbs at once, and it's pretty doable. 10-9, I thought it was pretty easy when forcing Remi to a very narrow vertical zigzag, using bombs when the bullets start to unravel. Gotta watch that huge trigger range for the explosion when baiting her though.

You get a wide shot when you equip the cursed doll (the red doll) as your sub weapon

You can literally do Byakuren's second spell without moving at all, a full proof safespot exists. Aside from having to place your dolls of course, that's the only dangerous part. Both of Remilia's cards were sons of bitches.

Yes, I figured as much. But I prefer staying at the bottom of the screen. This way I have a much better understanding of where I have to go (exactly) after putting the dolls. But if you're going after the no-weapons run, it is a lot easier to dodge the stars where you start than at the bottom.

Definitely. Aya is the one who has it rough. But if you're items aren't leveled high enough, some spellcards are brutal or impossible to beat until you go back and clear scenes with them to level up

For 10-7, look at the upper corners. They're MUCH safer than the bottom of the screen (seriously Miko, wtf? Why not just give the entire screen a hitbox while you're at it?!) and dodging the lasers is almost trivial. Be VERY patient - it has a long timer for a reason.

No you can't, Remilia keeps exploding on top of the doll repeatedly making the explosion bigger and bigger until it fills the whole screen. So no, it's not possible.

All of the scenes are possible without items, and that one is pretty tricky. I just don't like how much luck you need for some of the waves.

Blazing Burst The second one is by far the hardest one lol. It's pure luck since the gaps are chosen randomly (for every color of waves), and due to the nature of the gaps being too small there are times that it is impossible to find a point where the two color waves go pass you. The first one is easy and the third one es a bit tricky, but the fourth one isn't that bad. But nonetheless luck is a enormous factor in this scene, so I don't know what you are talking about.
