Slightly unpopular opinon: I liked it so so much. And I really don't get the complaints about them "faffing about". At least their faffing included actual rythmic moving and dance steps. Others used 10 secs for sailing down the ceiling last night. And as Graziano ist the pro here he can do funny nonsense in the backround while she's dancing imo.

Apart from the First half, the Choreography was quite Creative and well pulled off! She Handeld them Flip's Really well! My Favourite Choreography so Far! But I do Feel there was really no need for that Stalling at the start I believe! She shown her true Potential! 8/10

How could this get 27/40? So so good. I really do trust the judges, particularly Craig, but I don't get it. Vick is superb here, and I'm 99% sure that I'm not just being hypnotised by those hips.

Yes!! I'm so glad she did well, she said she was struggling with the salsa. Really well acted in the beginning too! Though I thought the movie and song were a very strange pick for a salsa; they really made it work though!

First the good: armography is clean. Energy of the dance is decent. Love the Samba-inspired (See Oti and Danny Mac’s African-inspired Samba and you’ll know what I mean) steps in it. Now the bad: too much faffing in the beginning. Perhaps because it’s theme week, Graziano thinks he needs to establish the story-telling. But this is done at the expense of sacrificing the actual Salsa content. But when they get into the actual salsa steps, they are executed quite decently by Vicky (needs to work on the floor a little more to get the hip actions a little more grounded). 6.5 (could have been a 7 without the faffing about in the beginning)

Way too much faffing around in the beginning! I think he's just not teaching her well enough - she has great musicality and sense of rhythm, I do feel like she could do so much better....

@@kiwibrit6064 thing is, an SCD routine typically is 90 seconds long. They took more than 45 second of faffing before the first actual salsa step is danced. That's pushing it. Don't forget we have the end where they are 'telling more story' and bits in between where even some Samba moves were thrown in. Ideally, for most very high scoring routines they have about 15 seconds of intro (where they establish the storyline), then 60 seconds of actual dance content, and lastly the 15 seconds in the end for final flourish and razzmatazz. Some pros take 30 seconds intro to tell great story and leave last 60 seconds on pure content. That's what happened with Danny Mac's QS. The beginning Len said too much faffing but I disagreed with him, because Danny and Oti did pure QS for about 60 seconds and their end when they broke hold it was only for a few seconds. This one is stretching the storytelling too much. But Graziano is new, so I'm still giving him time to learn these things... Giovanni was rebuked by Len in the beginning when he didn't get the dance content right (their movie week rumba was excoriated by Len, harshly so imho) but after that Giovanni's choreography was mostly en pointe...

+SCDObserver - yes, Gio has got so much better. He really learned his lesson the first few weeks on Strictly. A lot of new pros come on Strictly thinking this is like Dancing with the Stars where any actual content seems to be by lucky chance, and distraction is the name of the game. Well, to an extent you can get away with distraction but you have to do it cleverly (I'm looking at you, Katya!). Anyway, Vick's dancing did appear to be better in this one when the choreography actually allowed her to dance. I think Graziano should really focus more on teaching her and less on faffing. It's movie week, so they all did some of that, but the best pros stuffed the bits where they weren't faffing full of content.

Graziano really needs to work on choreography. I saw LOADS of talent. The salsa that was in here: her hip action showed and she could keep up time. But there was too much Broadway like movement! Get right into the dance!!! This would have made this astounding and skyrocketed them. Graziano needs to work hard on his choreo so Vick can bloom into a beautiful dancer. 7.

I really really like Vick and feel like she has a lot of potential, I really enjoy watching her. However, there’s something about Graziano which I cannot stand and it makes it so hard for me to warm to them as a couple. I feel like he’s just always trying to outdo her and prove a point about how incredible he is at dancing... we know you’re great you’re a strictly pro!

I didn't think that a Salsa to "Take a Chance on Me'' would work, but I definitely should have given it a chance... because it worked amazingly in my opinion. Very, very rhythmical, great partnership, wonderful armography, really stunning lines. What was lacking for me is a proper salsa hip action = drawing the figure 8 with the hips and really settling into the hips. She had some pretty good hip action, but it wasn't that great. In addition, she didn't close her feet in the basic steps. She was so committed, her Latin has really improved and overall it was a great number. A 7.

Overall for me I rlly enjoyed this performance and it was alot better from the last few weeks it was a great routine the lifts I thought were good the only thing I would say is to just work on her arm ography and little bit more hip action and body action but I rlly enjoyed this performance and she has rlly improved so for me I wud score it a 7

Really didnt like this dance at all. There was nothing special about it. The 2nd lift, Graziano literally picked her up from the floor. For someone who has had dance training, Vick doesnt seem to be enjoying this experience.

I remember this one- it was my trip to denise’s. I had just had a reflexology organiser tell me I wasn’t allowed a spot at the local holistic fair and I was told I had to do mediumship! I was told by the organisers I was selfish and a horrible person for asking for a reflexology spot rather than psychic readings. I go on a road trip to Denise and Eddies and was given the cold shoulder treatment. Her daughter Carla Edjim Ferd and wasn’t very pleased with me. ferd and Carla blaming me for everything! I was given the cheetah label for my Naples trip by Denise! I felt like saying don’t throw stones at glass houses love! It was millennium and you were trying to tell me you were cheating on your dying husband in 97 with my ex husband! I found her sneaking in my husbands bedroom fiddling with scarves in their bedroom on the trip whilst my ex was dressing in the bedroom!! I called lolly to try and meet and was told she was too busy with her plumber! my friend gave us a lovely coffee and cake and hotel chocolate in Eastbourne then we met together at the pizza place- in Brighton. I was constantly texting my friend Julie- who is my Buddhism pal who calls me crazy but who is really supportive. Another Michael buble moment - wanna go home 🤯😭 Then she doesn’t turn up for a shift and leaves the team in chaos!
