I'm a black American and I must say this is SOOOO interesting! We never learn about the cultures that developed out of the repatriates and recaptives but I feel like we should know this history.

I don't think Creole (Krio) culture is dying but more so evolving. The older generation might say that it is being watered down, which is valid. However, this is the beauty of culture, as the core values remain unchanged, but almost everything else evolves over time.

You know what is going on in the country and how life is for 99% of the people in Sierra leone. 🇸🇱 talk for the women who don't have the same luck and voice as you today. You may be right, but I'm not convinced that it is failing, dying, -----! WHY? Well almost everyone in Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 speaks the Creole language --- yes I say Creole language! People must stop ✋️ 🙄 😒 💯++++ all such nonsensical squealings about the Creole language.
