Vicksburg Mississippi - America's Most Historic City?

I visited Historic Vicksburg , Mississippi in April, 2022 and got to ride thorough Vicksburg National Military Park and other museums around town. I walked through the old City and toured the Old Courthouse grounds. Key Civil War battles were held where the National Military park now stands. Incredible statues and monuments decorate throughout the Park.
I plan a return trip soon!

Born and raised in Vicksburg Mississippi never been to the Old courthouse especially when they say they used to hang people there maybe the reason I've never been there
