It really puts into perspective just how unique Peri’s situation is. He partially grew up on Earth, in the middle-class US, around Vicky, and while he may be old enough to be a fairy godparent now, he’s still extremely new to this. I mean, with the second-youngest fairy in existence (Cosmo) still being 10k+ years old while Peri can’t be older than his early twenties (assuming no time travel magic was exploited), compared to literally every single other fairy in existence, he really is still just a widdle baby 😊💜 I _am_ completely on his side, though. Between how badly he wants to do his job well and him wanting his parents to treat him like an adult, he reminds me of when I first started college: “Guys, let me try to be independent please.” I guess it’s a slight relief for him that Jorgen is implied to hold him to the same standards he would any godparent, but man it must be stressful to have *_Dev_* as a first godchild. Love the kid and super wanna hug him, but he’s sure not making his fairy godfather’s young immortal life easy 😅

Vicky was a teenager, if the show is set 20 years after the original, then she would be in her 30s. Makes sense she didnt drastically change. Crocker would go from his 50s I presume? to being in his 70s. AJ grew up. So their redesigns make sense.

The way this show has treated its legacy characters has been done so well like they just transition into the story so organically. Seeing Vicky return was entertaining knowing she’s still up to her abusive tactics not as a babysitter but as a princess for hire like she truly has developed into even more of a monster. Great to hear her va come back to play her she’s always great. I’m very curious for Foop’s/Irep’s new design will he look like how evil cosmo is just cosmo with a monocle so same type of deal for Irep’s possible design.

I love the irony that dem is basically a fractured mirror of his father until he learns what it throughly means to be happy. Really getting magic hasn’t changed anything for him. He was already rich so got whatever he wanted except true freindship and his pappy love. He is doubling down. On what he knows . Throwing a tantrum. Till he gets what he wants from who ever no matter who it is. Well he is not reacting well to getting told no with all the magic restrictions . Finally seeing for the 1st time he can’t get his way. As for his father and dale dimadome sr. I can see that after reuniting with his son after Vicky kidnapped him. He spoiled him rotten to make up for lost time. I can totally see an episode that dem pushed things so far he makes hazel snap . At that point he sees he been such a jerk that he had what he wanted in front of him the whole time like his father he was to blind to see it.
