Love the background technique you are using and I love the colors and the blends. The wording, too, as I love how wording looks in mixed media. You have given me such a great appreciation for mixed media. You're such a lovely person and I appreciate your take on, there are no mistakes. @Vicky Papaioannou • I love the 2 page spreads. It gives us a chance to see more options for completing the same background. The tiled border is a great idea for using up while displaying some of the papers we love. Adding the shadow to the tiles is perfect. Great idea to have the journal include landmarks like our birthdays visually rather than the more traditional words. Just beautiful and inspiring. 👍

This is a really pretty layout Vicky. I like how you made the clouds/sky in the first step. I have been looking for those sponge daubers on and off and the only ones I seem to find are in the kids dept. of stores and they're super cheap looking. I keep checking on your supply list hoping they'll be there but no luck so far. You really looked like you were having fun making these pages. I miss the journal pages of the past but I really do love all the Stamperia paper pads and what you make with them.
