Miss Vicky, I’ve been taking your lessons from absolute beginner level and till yesterday I’ve completed the 20th lesson of beginner 2 in a matter of 4 months. I’ve been able to read and write quite well now, for the speaking part, I have to improve it on my own but I really, really want to thank you for providing such an amazing content with such detailed explanations and the correct pronounciation that helps us speak more like a native though it can never get 100% accurate 🥰 너무 너무 감사합니다 빅키 선생님, 저는 한국어를 열심히 공부하고 있어요 ❤

17:58 I've been studying Japanese, and now trying to learn Korean. It's fascinating how the two languages share these markers and grammar structures. Like, Japanese has similar particles は (pronounced wa) and が (pronounced ga). Oh and thank you for the video! Your explanations are really clear and the simple sentences help me learn vocab too!

Thank you so much! I am French and I've been studying Korean by myself for 11 months now. I use two grammar books and also try to translate my favorite songs or sentences from dramas (with the help of Papago) When I understand a new pattern , I feel ...euphoric! Ah ah ! ( I loved linguistics classes when I was in college !) I've just discovered your channel and I must say it will help me a lot! Your way of teaching is great and the worksheets are really helpful. Thanks to this lesson, I review concepts that I studied alone and that's a good thing! I will study all your other videos. Thank you again!

1:48:32 you said we don’t have to conjugate the first sentence verb to past tense so is this step necessary or can we just write 일어나고 십는데 and conjugate the verb on the second sentence

Question: when to use -에 for 'to', and when -께? Btw., great methodology; 1st time that I clearly understand a number of concepts that were somewhat foggy up to now 🥰👍
@KoreanwithMissVicky9 ай бұрын
에 and 께 are different particles. 께 is an honorific form of “에게/한테“ which means “to” as in “to a person,” like giving to a person, talking to a person and so on. When 에 is used to mean “to,” it means “to a certain place,” as in going to or heading to that place.

It's very very great lesson, but something bothers me which is the volume (audio) from recent lives. I don't know if you used the mic or not, but the volume is really low, even I turned it the volume up 100 still really low. It's not that I can't hear you, but still 😢 But anyway, Thank you sooooo much for the lesson Ms. Vicky 🙌
@KoreanwithMissVicky11 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for letting me know. Do you by any chance use an Android phone? It seems there's no issue with the volume with my apple devices, but with my old LG phone, I can see that the volume is a bit low like you said. I'm not sure if I can raise the volume any higher (I always set it to 100 during live), but I'll try to see what I can do. In the meantime, I recommend using earphones or headphones which will help improve the volume.
@howareyou199911 ай бұрын
@@KoreanwithMissVicky @VickyVicky Yes l use Android phone. Oh, that's why the volume is quite low? Okeh. I will use headphone then later, bcs still not finished watching/learning this lesson. 😁 Once again, 감사합니다 선생님 ❤
@KoreanwithMissVicky11 ай бұрын
@@howareyou1999 I feel like it depends on which device you’re using, because I asked my family and the audio works well on their phones (they use galaxy.) It actually worked not too bad on my LG phone too, just a bit lower than my iPhone. Can you maybe try checking your speaker with a mobile device technician? I have a feeling that it’s probably your device. I really hope it gets solved for you, because audio really is important when studying languages.
