This is so great! I used to play this as a kid. I seem to remember some extra "rules", maybe for more advanced play. Something about not being able to take one of the pieces from in the middle of two others? Not throwing a piece higher than a specific height, not being able to "stamp" down the pieces on the 4th round...something about catching them on the 5th round. Any of these other rules come to mind?

Uhh so my ass would not survive because I would not understand it especially if I had to learn right on the spot and if someone just put me there because i’m a girl 😭

Something that I'm confused about is the way you write "ㅎ“! I'm not sure why, but seeing the way you write it instead of the ㅎ I'm used to feels strange lol
@KoreanwithMissVicky23 сағат бұрын
There are two ways to write ㅎ depending on different handwriting styles and fonts. One has the top line horizontal, while the other has the top line vertical :) Both are acceptable forms you will commonly see

the most frustrating part is sometimes she'll explain what shes doing and saying, then next moments she rushed ahead without saying anything, it makes it really hard to follow along. since she also did it as an edit... edit: okay im now seeing that she did clarify a lot of my questions but in a commnet?????? dude just remake the video, then you could have also updated some of the visuals and written it better too.

Had no idea that 을/를 테 would imply a soft assumption or guess. Then the 거 would apply hard guess or "will" happening.

Hi Vicky 선생님, this both grammar are usually or only use on "I"? e.g. 수잔 씨는 음색을 준비할 테니까 갠디 씨는 커피을 사요. (X) 저는 음색을 준비할 테니까 갠디 씨는 커피을 사요. (O) 감사합니다.
@KoreanwithMissVickyСағат бұрын
수잔 씨는 음식을 준비할테니까: Since Susan will (probably) prepare for the food - assumption 제가 음식을 준비할테니까: Since I will prepare for the food - intention 이 차이예요 ^^ 영상에서 “-ㄹ/을 테니까” 부분을 다시 한번 봐주세요

Thank you so much for the video! I learned a lot!! One thing I found interesting culturally was the student asking for a favor with only a week's notice, but it was accepted well! :o In my experience in American public schools and universities, if you want any recommendation letter or official document from a professor it is common courtesy to request at least 4-6 weeks in advance, sometimes even longer! Granted it does depend on your relationship with the professor, the number of students they have, and perhaps the time of the request. Providing excess time to complete a favor is a way of showing the professor you respect their time and workload, I have never heard of someone asking the week before! In fact, I remember feeling so embarrassed and upset when I forgot to ask my professor until 3 weeks before the deadline- and most of my peers had gotten their letters months before! So, the whole video I was curious thinking "Is one week really okay? Is that typical in Korea?" Whether it is a cultural difference or just an example for the conversation, it made things very interesting!
