Ah, yes ! Great Old Wiener Staatsoper again! Thank you! It was one of the last Aida to be found, alongside the one from 1937 with Walter conducting. Wonderful comeback!

All the surviving excerpts of this Vienna performance available via the Koch Schawann edition of the Hermann May archives (in which Amneris is misidentified as Rosette Anday, something that is corrected on the Staatsoper archives and is audible a misattribution) I have assembled on this video.
