Just subbed, I have got a classic victa, the 550 professional 2 stroke self propelled, still going strong and gets used on the job often damn good unit

I'm always on the look out for a clean 2 stroke 550. They look a very good unit. I've got a proper old victa 160 utility that still goes well.

appreciate the comment. I considered speeding it up more but didnt want it to be comically fast. I hoped adding the bookmarks would be ok.

The RPM of the engine has a direct relationship to end blade speed. Swing back blades have a recommended maximum end blade speed, that is why ride-on mowers can do a better mulch cut because they have a higher recommended end blade speed. So an 18' mower will have a higher RPM than a 22' mower to acheive the same end blade speed. There will be a multitude of differing opinions 'torq v blade speed' and the torque curve, but ultimately if we want to acheive higher end blade speed, while maintaining torque - use a bigger motor.
