Please ladies, if a man you've met online, or in person, asks you for money...end the connection. I once dated a man (I met online and then in person) who asked me to co-sign for a car loan 2 weeks after dating!! I said no and then he disappeared. You have to keep your head on straight when you meet someone. Use your street sense and be careful!

I had a scammer whom I chatted with for almost a month when he asked me to transfer $800.000.00 from his account from his credit union he gave me his user ID & password & I was able to see the money but u can’t see his other activity even tho it says view statements. So there is a customer service #. It is in the USA so I called it but I get an voicemail with a foreign female voice which I can tell it sounds like overseas & of course this person says they love me call me dear & honey. So we never talked or video chatted because he works in Texas/New Mexico offshore some BS story I’m not a fool just entertaining these scammers

These scammers aren't rich 💰 they just want to look rich 💸🤑 and they do this by scamming money from other people from other countries, sometimes they do it to people from their country as well. They mannipulate people by telling them a sob story of some sort, they don't care who they scam as their so called needs are that they want expensive clothes, shoe's, jewellery and handbags yes even if their young boys. They're style fashion sense is horrible, they look really bad in their outfits 😝🤢🤮 Please watch out for the red flags🙏🚩And please do your research.

Never open accounts for strangers. Don't buy gifts or accept gifts from strangers. Don't fall for medical or accident pressure for money. Don't believe they will pay you back. Don't give strangers money, let alone your own relatives. Most of the time they delete their accounts and ghost you once they get your money. Online dating is not a real loving relationship.

Yeah I belonged to a mental illness group , I would comment things too and sure enough I got a guy starting talking to me . Friend request me stuipd . He started telling me he joined because his mother had illness too . And needed support on line with others I thinking oh how sweet . Everyday he messaged me talked about his mom . Then asked things about my illness bipolar showed real interest in it . Said everything sweet . Said he had to stay with his mom and couldn't work bc of it . I said really I work just take your meds I am fine . Idiot then I told him I divorced with a 3 year old . Then he started asking about my med how I paid for them what my child support was my wages any investment credit cards etc . Here's me oh I have money money no issue idiot me again . 2 days later he calls he says I don't know what to do . My mom can't afford her medicines tried to burn the house down last night bc of no med . She is in the mental hospital and she needs money for her med and hospital stay money and he had no place since the house caught on fire . He said I know I hate to ask I know you have money can you please give not even borrow 10.000 dollars I was like what 10.000 please otherwise mo. Will die and I will be homeless I know you understand. You have a illness too . Bingo so he used the group against me joined to find a young mother with money . I said ok sure gave me all where to go how much . Only I was 1 step ahead I had big red flagged blocked him reported to group they booted him out . The end right wrong 2 of his friends or him was messaging me yelling at me said I promised I was a mean bitch and now his mother is going to die and he will be homeless . I said no his mother won't die there is no mom in hospital no fire no homeless friend he is a scammer I not stupid and anyway not my problem is it . Blocked his 2 friends and that ended that . It's terrible how they go after ppl weakness and use it against them .

I had a friend who almost fell for something like this. I didn't know about these scams at the time, but it all sounded really fishy. He was (allegedly) scottish and worked in oil exploration. His wife had died during cancer surgery and his son was about 10. I finally let her know it was suspicious when the 'son' sent an email asking to call her mom. Prior to that, the guy had stopped contacting her - likely to set up the scenario that he had an emergency and needed $$$$. She confronted him. He disappeared from facebook and blocked her. I'm not in touch with her anymore, but she was no dummy. She had an advanced degree in computer science. She was just lonely and he said all the right things.

One of the victims was an American who believed the scammer was in an American hospital and that the hospital would not give them medication or food if they didn’t pay in advance. There is absolutely no hospital in the US that would refuse treatment or not give a patient food so they could starve to death based on their finances. It would have made more sense if the scammer said they were in a hospital anymore zone but for the victim to believe a US hospital would not feed them or not give them medicine is incredible.

It's hard but necessary to hear these victim stories because of the hurt and financial hardship they are placed. As a victim it does get better but it's a very slow recovery to be financial stable again. Learn from the mistakes and do not give these bastards your money, time, love, and trust. It's all the same lies and do not have any feelings for their victims at all. Do not feel stupid or have shame, learn and move on with your head held high. Will and Anne taught me how the scamming works. My scammer almost put me into a money mule scam saying his friend has my bank account information and wanted to put money in my account to keep the money safe and that I could use the money for anything I wanted. I said no and if he tried I will decline the money wire and report it as fraud. I had no prior knowledge of money mule scams until Will and Anne made a video about it and I was horrified as it could of been me.

People message me on IG who I believe are scammers. So I just ignore them. I don't even bother to reply or talk to them at all. 🤐 Some of them start out by telling me they love my smile or that I'm beautiful. I don't talk to them. I don't trust anyone. Amen to that sista! I used to try and de scam the scammer-go along with it and then let them have it in the end. However I’ve learned to just not answer the messages at all and just delete them. Saves me a ton of time and a ton of headache! And since then I haven’t had anyone message me.😁👍🏻 Also I’ve learned that they lure you away when they ask you to go to Google Hangouts or WhatsApp. I had one give me his google email address. I didn’t respond. Anyway I checked in on IG the other day and he had blocked me I think cause it said under his name: User Not Found. I think the scammers now know I’m not gullible or vulnerable enough to even fall for their BS. I don’t even let it go to google hangouts. I tell them if they really like me they’ll chat on IG and no where else. If they don’t like it, then you can block me. I don’t give a rat’s ass. I don’t trust anyone! I keep that guard up. Not everyone is who they say they are online and it’s scary!

I understand when people haven’t heard about scammers, I even understand how love can make you do things you’d never normally do! But once it’s happened? Many of these unfortunate victims, go right back on the computer, believing the next guy they meet are a good guy!! And some have to have been on dr Phil after they’ve lost everything again and again, and then still doubt Dr Phil’s entire team, with proof right in front of them! That I do not understand! Unless he is live on the screen, clear as a bell, move on, there is ATM’s everywhere in the world, why believe they have no access to money. Pls ladies, it’s better to be alone, than to be robbed, blackmailed and humiliated! Everyone knows scams go on - assume they are all scammers till proved otherwise ! Try to meet someone by joining clubs and pursue interests. And please. If you are ( as most of us) out of shape, with Covid weight ( live we can blame it on that lol ) and you are 50 plus years old? WHY oh why,would you think a 30 year old hottie wants you? In the real world, this rarely happens, they look for women either younger, or similar age. If they are as hot and fit as any supermodel ? Believe me, they are not looking for an older woman to keep them company. Don’t lie to yourself, be real and use your common sense. Many victims DO NOT know about military life and please keep in mind a lot of these victims are from other countries where they have absolutely no clue about military life. We get about 500 inboxes a day and over 85% are victims of military fake profile scams. More and more people are not aware of these scams, which is why we have channels and pages to educate people.

I think we have to start getting a bit careful with the advise "speak over Skype" and "look at the video quality". I have spoken to three scammers over Skype and the video quality was absolutely fine, and yes they were Caucasian/South Asian as they had said they were. The thing is this: scammers now use frontmen! They know victims have been advised to speak over Skype, with the camera on of course. They now hire frontmen in the respective countries where they claim to be, so that the victim gets to speak to someone with the local accent, who knows the location and can answer questions about it, and someone who is Caucasian or whatever they claim to be. No African accent, no black person, nothing like that - and the victim will feel secure and believe they are talking to a genuine person! Often these scammer networks will appear as a profile with a romantic sounding name, such as a male name ending with "o" or an Italian/Spanish/Portuguese name because it sounds more romantic, and more often than not they will claim to be of Italian/Spanish background or to live in Italy, Brazil, or some other country that is often associated with handsome men and a party lifestyle. The frontmen they use will really be from such a background, so the victim believes they are speaking to a genuine profile. Folks, especially ladies - just speaking to someone over Skype does NOT necessarily mean you are speaking to a genuine person! Even meeting them in person does NOT mean they are genuine - the above mentioned frontmen can pull a great show on Skype, they can do it in person! Also, scammers can be handsome men themselves, they can be Caucasian, South Asian, Middle Eastern etc - not all scammers are Nigerian, hence not all scammers need frontmen. I've come across scammers that sent me court approved copies of passports and other documents, I met them in person - and still they were scammers, and yes they were using fake documents. In some countries such as Pakistan it is extremely easy to get fake documents. From my experience I would say - until you know a man is working for the company he says he is working for, you know he really is holding the job he says he is - until then you have to consider that you are dealing with a scammer. And even then continue to listen to your gut feeling - it's never wrong!

We always tell victims if you video chat, make them write your name on paper while you watch on camera and hold the paper next to their face. A scammer will say his camera is "broken" and will be unable to do so.

@@ScammingScammers Good idea and I will definitely remember that, but it wouldn't have helped in my case - the last two scammers I spoke to actually spoke to me on Skype, and they exchanged a lengthy conversation with me, ie they replied to what I was saying so it definitely wasn't pre-recorded. They were frontmen, ie Caucasian men that work for the scammers (whether the scammers are African or not) and that speak to the victims/targets on Skype so that the target thinks they have come across someone genuine. One of them - he claimed to be in Canada and he did speak with a Canadian accent - clearly knew about such ways to ensure someone is genuine - he offered of his own accord to send a video recording of himself (prior to a Skype conversation) with a today's newspaper! I found this suspicious that he knew that... it took him however an entire week to send a video recording and then it was not with the newspaper of the day but merely with the day's date circled on a calendar! These two scammers didn't manage to scam me out of money, but they were by far not the first scammers to target me and it was still upsetting because they were abusive and manipulative.

@@LittleKitty22 Yes some do use American mules to pretend and chat, it's not unusual but at the same time not typical , most scammers who do that are very well seasoned in scamming which is scary in itself

We get about 15-20 people a week who share their stories. We don't post them all on our channel, some are posted on our page, others are just wanting to share personally. I Skype with victims every week who share their story as well as phone victims. Sometimes it helps for them to just tell their story and get it out. Some people are not emotionally able or kind enough to listen. We are. It helps the victim to share what happened to them as sometimes family and friends don't understand OR the victim does not tell the family about what happened to them because they are ashamed. We've had victims who were on the brink of suicide just talk to us about what happened, know they are not alone and felt a world better after sharing. Sorry you don't understand this. For us if victims reach out for help, we are happy to try and at least listen instead of judge them.

Guys are often too ashamed to admit they been scammed. Tough guys like me, who got scammed by World Class Scammers from Phillipines, a REAL 3rd World Shit hole for too many Real women Scammers there.
