The closest I'll get to Victober is another Parasol Protectorate book. I'm almost finished with Changeless. Love it. I finally have the first 3 House Witch books. I've got my sense of smell back and can taste coffee, but not most food. Im feeling fine. I hope your dad is fully recovered. I like your dad, wine, rock hound, and books! 😁 The Haunted House sounds good. Varney the Vampire 😲 that is massive. Happy reading Amy 📚

Varney the Vampire is enormous! I know Jennifer loved it though. If you want something light I think the Margaret Oliphant books will fit that description, the Carlingford Chronicles is a delight. I’m also reading The Haunted House and really looking forward to it as a mash up of great Victorian authors. Enjoy Amy!
