The Second Mrs Tanqueray is a really interesting read. Enjoy Victober 😊 I’d love to see more videos about theatre.

What a pleasant surprise! Thank you for watching! I've been watching your videos for years. My Victorian lit journey has been slow but steady for the past few years. Up to this point, Thomas Hardy and the Brontës are my favorites. I plan to keep this going even after Victober, with a focus on more obscure authors.

I'd love to hear more about theatrical literature, especially classic theatre! My eyes lit up when you mentioned Antigone!

@@veroreads I’ll definitely start thinking about theater video ideas. My primary area of expertise American theater - Tennessee Williams, Arthur miller, etc but I had a goal this year to read more classics. I’ll probably extend that reading goal into 2025 too!

@@jacksontalley I have to admit I don't know as much as I'd like about American theatre (I'm from Italy and we mainly did Greek and Latin plays in school), so I'll be happy to watch if you'll end up making a video about it!

@@veroreads sounds like I need to make an American theater video soon! Stay tuned 😎

Greetings from a little city called Orillia in Ontario, Canada. I think it was from Melinda @ A Web Of Stories that I heard of your channel and am excited to see your past videos. Victober is my favorite reading month and you had me at Wuthering Heights. I've lost count of how many times I've started & put down this book, so it is my only goal for this year, to finally READ it.

@@karenwetherald6086 thank you for watching! I read wuthering heights ages ago so I’m excited to read it again. I read Jane Eyre for the first time last year and loved it so the expectations with WH are high. Happy reading 😎

Those Penquin Deluxe editions are stunning. Maybe that would help me get through Wuthering Heights. I've heard some people say it's their favorite classic. I would like to revisit to see if years later, my opinion is different. Talk more about theater, yes, please.

The Mayor of Casterbridge is a fast read and keeps your interest. W. Heights is horrible but, I get why people like it. 😉The Woman in White is my favorite Victorian classic so far.

@@theresas709 I like Thomas hardy a lot so I’m excited to read him again! I’ve heard so many mixed reviews of WH but I’m curious… I don’t remember much from my high school reading of it. Wilkie Collins will happen one day but I want to give myself enough time to read it thoroughly.

The Way of All Flesh is a book I love, not so much for the story, but for the charm, wit, wisdom, and obviously gay sensibility of the narrative voice. The Woman in White is one of my favorite books. I read The Mayor of Casterbridge this spring and thought it was fantastic.
