I have used Victor for 10+ years, Since they sold the company, I have been having problems with hot spots, small litters and dogs that no longer have nice shiny coats. I found out the new owners changed the formula and now it has blood meal in it. I also just recently found out the original founders of Victor saw that their old company was in a downward spiral and cutting cost trying to grow too big too fast. 2 of them joined together to make a new brand called Next Level. Same formula as ORIGINAL victor formulas so I will be going on to switch to that.

I put everything in containers so I don't have the bags. However Amazon contacted and I had 3 bags dating all the way back to June. Even though I bought a bag every month only those 3 they alerted me. I am throwing away everything, I switched to taste of the wild for now. I have 3 huskies.

My bag says best by 9 -23- 24. My dogs had the runs for a week and a half now even with shaking just barely found out about this recall. And I’m using the max five pro from Victor.

Wow, have your vet run a fecal ia d let em know the situation. You can try diamond or Purina. Both have been doing ok with us so far.

I called customer service, according to them only the high pro plus line was impacted. I called them yesterday.

We’ve been using High Pro Plus for six years and our dogs do fantastic on it. Healthy, no allergies. Turds are nice and firm so it’s easy to clean up. We used to use Diamonds Naturals which is also a good food and we recently switched to the Tractor Supply brand called 4 Health beef and rice formula. It’s made by Diamond. The dogs are doing fine on it but their turds are not quite as firm. We’ll switch back to Victor when it is back on the shelves.

Done with Victor. Typical when a large company buys a smaller one. Have two bags and they only allow one bag refund per address. Haven't received refund yet. We will see.

I switched from blue to the Costco kibble and my male bully is breaking out with bumps and his coat looks horrible. Never had skin issues before. Switching back to blue. Just my experience.
