So nice Victor, to hear such gorgeous sounds coming from a fine vintage cornet! It adds such a wonderful variation when an artist adds a sweet cornet to their tonal palette of just a trumpet and flugle. I found an outstanding 1911-era fixed leadpipe Boston 3-Star that blew me away about ten years ago. For a year I played nothing else unless a job required a trumpet . . . just to immerse myself into the gentle, almost human sound with vintage deep-V mouthpiece. You make your Lyon and Healy speak into our very souls in a way a trumpet can't. Thank you, thank you, thank you! God Bless . . .
