Victor Shows Off His Super-Lightweight, Gig-Ready Hartke Bass Rig

my wife has been playing bass for 25 plus years . We saw Victor do a clinic at the music store and it was PACKED . of course we filled out raffle forms to win some stuff . Victor gave an inspiring talk which was mainly about being a GOOD PERSON - nothing to do with shredding . there was a guy who brought in a bass and while Victor was performing this space geek guy started slapping and spanking his bass and rolling his head around like he was grand mauling . Oh he also looked like he rolled in on glitter gypsy platform number zero-zoid . totally decked out with a weird cap , all different color clothing , weird hair , and he looked smelly too. jaynes addiction to hot topic. it was jam packed but a large manager dude came over and gave this goofy cat who really looked like some cartoon villian , he gave him the worst stink eye i ever saw before he motioned CUT across his neck . the guy stopped playing . then they did the raffles , they gave away a lot of strings, it took a while . then ... grand prize - they picked my wife ! She got 6 sets of dr strings and a Hartke practice amp thats small but i gotta say -that half aluminum speaker thing is actually legit as that little amp BUMPS . while we where collecting the spoils some wise guy was making comments about " i shoulda brought my wife too" insinuating my wife was only there to win ME a prize.... only thing is , your wife wouldn't have come with you because she isnt cool AND a bass player ...like Gomti who still hasnt finished using all those strings by the way. She still has the amp its really a killer practice amp and it got the cops called on us playin on the patio so... Victors clinic was the best one i ever saw , forget about the prizes , he is the man . if you ever get a chance to see him do his thing or play Hartke for that matter... just leave your bass at home. i am sure that guy goes around telling everyone he jammed with victor wooten .technically he did for about 15 notes , but victor was completely un-aware of this occurrence .
