This is the gods of basketball rewarding San Antonio Spurs for all that they deserve. A first class organization from top to bottom that nurtures their young players to be better individuals and athletes, to serving and helping their communities and providing better opportunities thru all kinds of charities and fund raisers. A GOAT coach who always have been like a father figure to every player who played under him and just make them better person beyond basketball. Tue drafting of Wemby is a culmination of all of these as we all know he will be a better version of himself if he indeed landed with coach Pop and the Spurs. Gods wanted these young kids to witness that a great basketball player like Wemby can be humble, grounded despite his popularity. Where else can he learn that but in coach Pop.
