Friday Nov 11th, on our main french Sport daily newspaper (“L’Equipe”), there was a long interview where he explains how he acquired his agility and fluidity. I captured a few things: 1/ he was tall very early (1,90m or 6”3 at 10 yo) so he has learned to deal with his height from day 1 and is very comfortable with it 2/ he did practice other sports such as soccer or running races (his father was a long jumper) and it gave him feet agility 3/ his coach in Nanterre, a few years ago, and himself, wanted to build all type of skills in defense and offense and not rely solely on his height in a static way 4/ he is completely fond of basket, and train himself to acquire move and skills from his role models: kobe, kd, giannis, …

Been watching highlights for close to 3 years now of this kid. I've literally been watching him grow. He's so unreal. Best prospect since and maybe better LeBron in my opinion as well. LeBron didn't have the injury question at his size, but this kid has a much better defensive IQ at 18, and has shooting range.

I just think it’s really important to Stan for Scoot. To be as strong as he is, as explosive as he is, be able to finish with both hands, have the shooting upside, potentially give you the two way game with some upside as a passer, in todays game when points kinda control the tempo. I get you can’t pass on Vic, but like… it’s almost an auto whiff passing on Scoot. There’s less risk with scoot. People think he’s like Rose 2.0 I think everything I’ve mentioned above makes him better than Rose. He’s bigger and stronger than Rose. He seems more sturdy than Ja. I think he’s the safer pick.

Being highly talented and being a stonecold winner, are two separate things in the NBA and he has all this Fanfair already before he's even played one NBA game, does he have high basketball IQ , and a solid character and will he be able to stay humble and after getting his 1st large contract or will he turn into another NBA diva and not play much team ball anymore or defense anymore and just be a tall offensive player? And is that enough. So many questions I have, but everyone else seems sold on everything about him.

As a French man who heard many interviews of him i can say he his very mature for his age and seems very smart. And he definitely is tough mentally, as you need to be when you start playing professionnal basketball at 15-16 against grown men. He has all the tools, now let's see what he does with them, so far so good
