@@beazy7751 You’d have to go back to the 80s and 90s, where a player won DPOY and missed the playoffs. The Spurs were in last place, and the ones who won it, like Jordan and Rodman, were not far off from the playoffs. Also, a rookie has never done that as well. Alvin Robertson did it in his second season and missed the playoffs, so it’s very possible this year. The whole point is the team’s success does play a factor in this award. Not as much as MVP, but nothing like ROTY, where you can go winless and win that award.

Going nuts after getting dunked on and stared down is good. Shot blockers are gonna get caught but its how they respond that matters. He made sure the Hawks knew it wasn't a good idea to play with him

Have seen major improvement in Vic's shooting confidence. He's always had a good stroke, but now he's building confidence. Also, his passing vision and footwork in the post has improved a lot. His length on defense is just bonkers -- never seen anything like it. And he's only 20 folks. Spurs have a very bright future.

Because Wemby does not have the proper weight to post up properly. He needs some new skills e.g. the hook shot of Yao Ming, the single leg jump shot of Nowitzki, the floater of Jokic and the bank shot of Duncan. He needs something to compensate for his lacking of weight.

He’s being literally pushed out of the paint and whenever he receives the ball near the paint the double him. When victor hits threes it spaces the floor and you can’t leave him wide open and clog the paint which would take way his drive.

I hate when people say he shouldn't shoot when its obvious to anyone who knows anything about shooting how gifted he is at shooting. His technique and rotation on the ball is exactly what you teach and he does it with giant hands. Its literally a matter of time until he is a top 10 shooter. He already shoots better than Lamelo Ball who is a "shooter"

Not only is he gifted but he obviously works A LOT. Just looking at the difference between last season and now. I reckon gaining confidence has a part but the technique is so up there now. He takes some threes way behind the line and still makes it look easy.

Jump shots should be his go to. No one will ever contest it and for his slender size he should avoid “banging down low” as much as possible to prevent injuries down the line
