Dr Victor, I think the number of slots per university doesn't even matter because it seem to be one slot per course listed. When you check it properly, you'd notice that the number of slot allotted to a particular university is 100% proportional to the number of course available in the list for that school.

It Is Even Less Than The 100% Proportion At the University of Glasgow Which Has 6 Slots For 7 Programmes. But, I Still Think It Count Because In A Year 1 Or 2 Eligible Programmes Don't Get Applications Or Competitive Essays, I Think Another Eligible Programme Can Get More Than 1 Applicant Awarded The Scholarship. However, I Suggest You Consider Programmes For Which You Can Submit Very Competitive Applications Than Just Focusing On The Number Slots Available.

@@dikaikechukwu2561 There's a different between Commonwealth scholarship and Commonwealth SHARED Scholarship. The latter doesn't require a nominating agency apart from the university you are applying to.

Do I need to be nominated by my country first before I apply on the website? Do I just apply straight up on the website directly? Please any guidance in the right direction would help. Thank you so much for the video sir. I checked the portal yesterday and realized that one of my eligible courses at the University of Reading (UoR) is the same as the one I selected while applying for Chevening. I have been given a conditional offer for the course at UoR, and the only reason why I could not accept the admission offer was that I had to make a deposit of the tuition. I reached back to them stating that I am a prospective Chevening scholar and they asked me to wait until I get the scholarship before accepting the offer. The question now is, can I reach out to them again stating that I am also applying for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship, and how do I go about this, sir?

@victor, what if the exact course you want to study is not one of the approved university but close to it, can one still apply? For instance, there is MA Education as one of the approved courses but you want to study, MA TESOL which is not exactly stated, can one still apply?

Hello Victor, so one of the schools I am applying to is asking for application fee of 100 pounds and they are not accepting waivers except on the condition that I can prove that I am a refugee or displaced. Without this application fee, I cant move forward with the school admission. Assuming I cant pay for this fee at this time.
