After Russia lost the war, the countries in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan) got released for like a brief second and then got combined into Turkestan, because they were all in Spain's sphere of influence. So it's the Spanish Near East, a Spanish puppet.

Well, I use HFM, but this mod only changes gameplay (like adding new nations and events), it doesn't change the timeframe the game is located in. Unmodded Victoria 2 also goes from 1836 to 1936.
