@@512TheWolf512 isn't every paradox game just that?
@cragga95822 жыл бұрын
@@ihatemotionblur_3255 Not really as other pdx games are largely focused around the meaningful micromanagement of other factors rather than economics. The only other comparable pdx title regarding money is eu4, and the entire economics system in that revolves around essentially the vic 2 budget screen, war reps and trade nodes. As for arguments against idle playing, Eu4 is a game where you try to form nations as efficiently as possible through warring, marrying, diplo and colonising. And hoi4 is a sweatfest of metagaming and intense micro of simple features, in many cases helped by mods that add story depth. No point explaining Stellaris as it it very unique, very on the ball micro heavy game that doesn’t even take place on the world map. Victoria 3, as far as I know and have played is literally “watch green line go up” as you have already got everything in construction queue and have nothing else meaningful to do, like perhaps build up and setup your army for tactical wars, game strategies, or player to player interaction.

@@cragga9582 it's fun that Vic3 is much more a multiplayer game than a singleplayer one, yet PDX despises multiplayer Vic2 KZbinrs and didn't give them anything, just singleplayer channels

Doing the attract immigrant focus is really great, but POPs in colonial states cant migrate to normal states so it does nothing unless you have territories with non-accepted POPs as states.

Early in the game its good to get 2, maybe 3 army reforms because they give you a bootyton of research points when conquering. If you have those techs when you conquer Korea, you'll immediately have enough research points for the most expensive economic reform with research points to spare.

Can you tell me how you decide factories you built?
@josejaimes-ramos15462 жыл бұрын
Your factories are dependent on your access to resources. If you have access to 200 clothes and 20 silk, then you should make a luxury clothes factory. A factory without resources still has to pay its workers and capitalists despite no product to sell.
@enochinri2 жыл бұрын
Based on your natural resources, and what products you are importing. As Japan, you have all the requisite RGOs for an arms industry, so I went pretty heavy into that. If you are without iron, coal, or sulphur, look at other RGOs you have. You have timber? Build lumber and furniture factories. You have coal, but no iron? Build glass and liquor factories. This infographic should help you decide what to build and why: preview.redd.it/ro1cqstrz3841.png?width=1061&format=png&auto=webp&s=1577c92ba3a8024c5e031e8f9fbf861fe15801d0 At the top middle of your screen, you can see the 3 most imported and most exported products from your nation. Even if you don't have any of the requisite RGOs, sometimes these can be profitable things to build as well, or just to ensure you are reliant on domestic rather than foreign production. Keep in mind though that if you don't have the prior RGOs, you will be dependent on the global market.

Invade Hawaii asap. Plenty of research points there. Then Korea, grab East Manchuria before Russia takes it. Don't quell the rebellion, stay strong in Tokyo. Japanese people would emigrate to the conquered countries making a significant Japanese minority or even majority there. Only then reconquer Japan from reactionaries.
