The port at Suez isthmus is a decision one gets after one has done the survey and they has positive relations with Egypt. There is no diplomatic play, you just press the button to buy it and you annex the port. It's the same with the Panama.

Also there are a bunch of UI mods in the workshop that improve the QoL of a player massively. Like showing you peasants and unemployed in the tab and condense some tabs so you can get a good overview faster.

Apparently the next patch will also alleviate this issue too. I try to minimize the use of mods, especially so early!

@@pukebeard6406 understandable. Just personally bad designed UIs frustrate me a lot. So I currently use 8 or 10 UI mods. So I can get all the information I want easily.
