PS. If you’ve seen those “Advent wine/champagne “ calendars. Skip them. Buy a couple of bottles of real tasty champagne share a glass a day (the champagne corks will hold the wine bubbles ) such a better investment and still very festive 😉. I do tend to be in a rut with tried and true wines, I appreciate how you’ve included the wines you tasted! Thank you!

You both look amazing! I would love to do this with my husband one year for our anniversary. Like you we are a mixed diet couple, I am vegan and he is not. Just curious how you explained this to the restaurant team. It always feel like a odd subject to broach.

With Victoria and Alberts they handle special diets differently than any other Disney restaurant. About 3-5 days before your reservation they call you. You tell them all of your diet restrictions and preferences. They work with it and they'll ask you follow up questions, if necessary. I, for example, said I wasn't a fan of mushroom so they left off mushrooms on every dish and inquired on sauces at the table. It's highly tailored to whatever you want. 👸

When I explained the video game (and probably went a little too deep in the Square nerd lore for a server but I was excited), she gave me that look that non-Disney people give when you've talked too long about a Disney topic. Our reservation was at 6pm but we got there a little early and were seated around 5:50pm. We did leave after midnight, closer to 12:30am. We were home by 1am. Princess works at 7am and Bear works at 9am. It's been a long 2 days.
