Stephenville's Victoria Cameron rolled past her competition on Thursday in the Class 4A 100m, scoring a victory in 11.35 seconds to nab Texas State Outdoor title, less than a tenth away from a class record that Sha'Carri Richardson set in 2017.

Outstanding. I saw the short video of her training and it lead me to this. If you see THAT video you will understand how she got her jets. Superior workout ethic. But even after the race she didn't hang around...she kept moving right off the track. They would have had to keep running to get to her to congratulate her. Normally you post up 10-15 yards behind the finish line.

This is the first video I've seen of her running a sprint. I've watched maybe 7 or 8 Matthew Boling races. I've noticed something that they all have in common. Both of these sprinters are from a particular group that typically isn't known for winning sprints. A different group wins them most of the time. When they do, the runners always congratulate the winner, whomever it is. I noticed in this race and all but one of Matt's races, no one congratulated them. Gee.....I wonder why.

Through training, her legs are familiar with the "footfalls" needed to accelerate. Using timed bursts at high speeds, you can gain "leg familiarity" with the needed footfalls using a curved treadmill. Speed the treadmill up with force movement. Then jump on while a friend times your sessions and jump off when complete. 5 sets at 15sec high-intensity sprints. DON'T FALL, LOL.

Skin color has nothing to do with talent and dedication. And since you put skin color out there, Hard work and not being an egotistical maniac like most black girls are. That’s what keeps this girl on top of the other competitors.

@@alfredherrera8308 I don't believe skin color has anything to do with it at all, except that for all these years the top sprinters have been black women, so it's good to see the hard work and dedication that it takes to be a winner. So what I would do if I were you is never try to lecture me about anything as a concerns are properly comported human being who operates with righteous intent because you will get schooled and humiliated.

@@alfredherrera8308 nothing I said was racist, but you just said that most black girls are egotistical so you're the one who needs checking with your stupid racist sentiment. The Most High, which I'm sure you don't believe in, has put people of all ethnicities under my care for their emotional, intellectual and spiritual development. So it appears that you missed the entire gist of my initial post so I would advise you to just leave it alone! I am proud of this young girl just as I am proud of our friend Abby Steiner for the hard work she's put into her craft!

@@brotha_pedat I've been thinking about this, also. Now, a lot of white girls play soccer. It complements track, especially in the long sprints.

She is like that other track phenomenon, Abby Steiner, who is also as soccer star. Maybe they should start studying the workouts of soccer players!👀😊

A lot of great runners come from soccer as there’s a lot of running involved in soccer. I wish her well in whichever sport she chooses. Maybe she can swing both!

In retrospect I can see why she decided to go the soccer route in college and not track. Case in point: Caitlin Clark and the WNBA.
