This is Bernie Purdie he takes a plain simple beat and adds and adds and adds his personal touch. This is the REASON this Man this Wonderfdul GIANT of a drummer does so so so so much. We are grateful to have Bernard Purdie on this planet. He plays it so so so so cool and so so so hep. In the Pocket. He loves playing drums and we LOVE Bernard Purdie.

@@hectorsanaifric343 Yeah, he restarts around the third beat of the bar, e.g. a quarter note too early. I think he was a wonderful drummer, to be clear - but it's evident he's lost a lot of accuracy and endurance with age. Perhaps he doesn't practice much anymore.
