LOL I just did row 9 backwards. I realized part-way through but am impressed with myself - my inner perfectionist is shrinking. It looks almost the same. Who cares. But the variegation made for an off set square in the very middle.. 🫤 . But it's the first project I've been able to stick with this long. It's perfect for me. Thank you for your amazingly clear instructions. Coincidentally using the same color yarn

Hi Angelina, sometimes I just start at any color that comes out of the skin and sometimes I pull until I find the color i ended with. For this blanket I didn’t do anything special. This is a very beautiful blanket, but a little confusing at the beginning. I just want to know why do you single crochet as oppose to doing a slip stitch at the end of each row?
@JonnaMartinezCrochet3 жыл бұрын
The single crochet is because when we chain up for the next row it puts the chain in the middle of the corner. So we have space for the second stitch of the corner. Watch closely or try it for yourself both ways. It works better than a slip stitch. Thank you for watching and great question! ❤️

I love this pattern. I appreciate the work that you do and I always buy your pattern as well as watch the youtube tutorials. I find it easier to follow the pattern if I have watched the tutorial. Would this pattern work with 3 ply yarn? I have Baby Bee Sweet Delight Prints Tricycle Time purchased from Hobby Lobby. it is a really pretty yarn, but it is 3 ply. Would this work for 3 ply, using the F (3.75mm) hook? Thanks

Hi Wanda, I really appreciate you watching my tutorials and purchasing my patterns! Yes this pattern will definitely work with 3ply yarn and any hook you are comfortable using with that yarn. Have a wonderful day! P.s. you can also message me on Facebook or Etsy with any other questions! (JonnaMartinezCrochet)

Gorgeous. Great video. I noticed someone asked you about hook size and found it interesting that using a smaller hook than yarn recommends doesn't need to be blocked. Ive just instinctively always gone for a smaller hook and G is my favorite. But just in case...what is your method for block in. Do you have a blocking video?

I have blocking boards I got from Amazon, I think I have linked them in the description box. I like to dampen or lightly wet my project and then pin it out on the boards. Thank you for watching! Sorry for the late reply!

Thank you for this wonderful pattern! Your instructions are so clear and I am enjoying making this for my daughter. I recently purchased this on Etsy (my first ever purchased pattern- shows how much I love it!😊❤). I have a question about the end of row 20. In the video, you finish the row with a v stich, ch1, then sc into the top of the 1st st. But in the written pattern, you don't include the ch1 stitch. If I'm not mistaken, the video is correct, the written pattern is not. Can you help me with this? Thank you!

Hello Marcia, I’m really happy you’ve been enjoying making this pattern! The chain one as in the video is correct. Myself and my testers are human so typos occur in the written pattern no matter how many times we go over it. I will address the typo. In the future if you find a typo please message me directly where you purchased the pattern. Thank you for watching and commenting! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
