This doesn't seem quite right, the corset is so loose that it's just sitting on the lady's hips and the bodice looks entirely unstructured.

Why not tighten the corset? Women laced their corsets tighter, and no I don't mean extremely tight laced......

@@mop9091 All corsets are laced, except maternity corsets (and they're not completely 'not laced'), and it's very clear that she's not pregnant.

@@silver9485 right?? not only did they not lace it, but because it's the wrong kind, it's giving the wrong shape to the dress. I'm also a little surprised that the petticoat over the cage didn't reach the bottom of the cage, and that it was without flounces to help smooth out the cage lines. I think the idea was there, and it was also interesting to watch, but the details threw me out of the magic historical dress gives.
