Victorian Fire • Board Up • Stockton CA

Stockton firefighters arrived on scene to a two story, boarded up Victorian house on the corner of Acacia and Madison this morning. Firefighters began flowing water on the exterior fire, searched the first floor, and opened up the building. The fire was brought under control, with no injuries reported.

I enjoy watching videos like these and I have to say Stockton firefighters are amazing. I guess it’s all the experience they’ve gained fighting the amazing number of fires they have there. Thanks for posting these videos.

While I get the basic coloration of the fire helmets (ie. white=chief, etc.); what is the significance of the red/white, quartered helmets?
